My site says there coming so but i found a site with a 6 pack for sale for $190 are they worth it. What type of ballast will they use. can some one point me in the direction of some more info?

Why would you pay so much money for something that you're only going to use in veg? Just get a HPS and run with that the whole way through. I stopped using MH awhile ago.

well they are under the same sectin of this site under cmh. i figured they would be on par if not better.

Yeah I saw what they are. But you only use MH for veg, so it's not really worth the extra money.
Like I said, I stopped even using MH in my grows awhile ago, there's no real need.

I've used them, they don't produce the same.....They tried to tell us this when they first came out, and they didn't yield anywhere near what the standard HPS was yielding.
Go for it if you want though.

I disagree ive been running 400cmh and they are comparable to 1000w hps which i used to use. Im using an extr bulb but my yeilds have increased.

It's just an energy saving lamp. For instance the 830w goes into a 1000w. Feel free to spend $900 on 6. I'd spend that money on a tried and true lamp designed for plant growth. These lamps are designed for businesses running hid lighting as a means of saving on their energy bill.

Well here's the Super HPS from Hortilux. I haven't tried that bulb specifically.
Do you have a link to these grows that are far superior using this bulb?
