I would think it wouldn't.
But if it's not air tight it could get dried out.

then i ran out of jars
An when i did it before its always got that green sticky bottom when all the buds gone :3

I use tupperware containers now instead of jars. It's much easier to get the kief off the bottom of those than a deep jar
