My doctors are completely against MMJ (pretty much a long shot here in NJ anyway ), so I'm not going to say anything about the krat. I doubt they've heard of it anyway. ... . . .

IME (which is much less than some others here) red vein borneo sounds like it would be good for what you are looking for....great for pain relief, anxiety, and insomnia at some doses - smaller doses can be a bit stimulating
does anyone know what would be a good thing to extract with? like say i had 1lb of powdered krat.....id probably wrap up a good bit into a coffee filter and make a tea bag of sorts, then soak/shake for a while in a mason jar every day....what would you use as the solvent?

Am I gonna find prices much less then 150/kg shipped stateside?
Also I've been getting variety packs but when it comes to picking a strain when you are buying a lot how do you do it. I feel like there are so many variables with kratom it's hard to tell if you really like that strain or not. With time of dosing, stomach content, tolerance etc.

well i use lemon water to extract for my tea (strain after).... dosage is higher, but the experience is good. So i image its water soluble. Ive never enjoyed any kratom extracts personally tho

domestically thats prob best price your gonna find. You may find a better price tho. Internationally u can find as low as $100kg (but takes a while and sometimes u gett stuck with the import charge (my last package was $70 import charge)
As for strains... find one you like and stick too it... Red and Greens are my favs
maegn da (pimp grade), is over priced garbage imo. I was told its USUALLY a "mix bag" and charged for more

Ive become good friend with a kratom farmer from Pontianak, Indonesia. He grows the best quality kratom. If anyone had "kali" kratom, they know its the best  (grown in Kalimantan). This guy has a HUGE kratom farm
He burns all the shitty stuff (poor quality, effected by bugs, batches that get moldy )
Most the low quality stuff (bugs/mold) get blended and sold for 1/2 price at the market.... Then its bought by locals and mixed with other kratom and sold to westerns (us)
This is why my new friend burns it
Me and him have been talking all week. he told me to avoid "white vein" n maeng da.
If everything works out with this first 5 kilo order i will be able to sell to everyone here cheaper then all the websites. And it will be quality stuff!!!! hes currently drying 40 kilos, so its gonna be fresh AS FUCK!!!
I prefer buying crused leaf... I like it better for tea's , Most vendors will only sell powder, this guy is grower. He is happy to sell me the leaf (and powder too)
He takes kratom daily, and says "I wouldnt sell something i wouldnt take"

Here is another sketchy thing people over there do. They pick this plant that looks like kratom (its non toxic, but has no effects)... they mix it with kratom leaves to increase weight.
So unless you know the actual grower, who knows what the fuck you really are ingesting.
I talked to 4 people from indonesia in the kratom game before i met this dude, they were all resellers. Who bought it at the market and sold it cheap. Im glad to finally talk to a real farmer.... hes cool shit!! I dont want shitty product, i want the real deal

I would love to get in on that. I've really found some love for the krat but my vendor is expensive. There's other options but the krat is good and they take payment options that work for me.

Well my 4+ oz of kratom lasted me 12 days averaging 9g dose per day, some days, 2 doses... I didn't take any today( it's all gone), but no noticeable wd's... On a weird side note, I started my Celebrex 200mg script today ( took almost a week for my Insurance to approve it), and I got a strange ammonia like taste in my sinus when I exhale. Also had noticeable blurred vision that lasted a few hours. Both started about 2 hrs after taking it. TBH, I think the pain relief from kratom was better, though Celebrex does have a cumulative effect so it should work better in a few more days. My doc said strait up no chance of me getting narcotics for my pain. I need to shake up some more work this weekend so I can re-up my stash. That, plus I need to pay some bills... . . .

Time for some more kratom eye porn from my new friends in Indonesia
I ordered 4 kilos (4 kinds) from one guy in kali, Indo
Then ordered 2 kilos from another guy (he sent em for free as long as i paid shipping).
I asked for Leaf form from both guys....I dont want it in powder form. Some Powders are made by cutting it with gross batches/old stuff/moldy stuff/Other tree leaves....
So with pure leaf you know what your getting,
