    #635446 - 08/26/12 10:15 AM (4 years, 3 months ago)

could you empty a can or 2 into a mason jar with 2 holes in it add you material, extract pour through filter into another coffee jar as the butane evaps off have a hose in the lid send it to fill the cold jar on ice while the other ones in hot water.

then use a small amount of acetone or even butane to remove it?

Actually there is a way, and what you need (to do it right) is a Tamisium Extractor. Pricey but honestly if you think about it you are recycling almost all of the butane you are using. This link may help but look around for more info. From what I hear this is what the pros are using

So worth it considering a can of good butane is like 15$

i pay under five for em (but i usually buy a couple cases at a time)...

Me and my buddy were gonna buy a 1 oz model, not sure if they make em anymore (they were the red ones)...

for anyone who goes through LOTS of butane.... this could be a great investment.  hard to spend 3-5k up front though....

Well if you practically never have to buy butane again, and they make it on a regular basis, then yeah worth the investment.

I don't know of anyone just buying 1 can of butane.

i think its a awesome investment. out here the cans of good vector to use for concentrates is $6 and some change.

but dont think only on the small scale! I hear of a tale that someone bought a tamisium butane extractor and going around to his friends out in the hills after harvest. he takes their trim and extracts it for them. all for a nice fee of product or cash.

or buy one and talk with a dispensary see if you can be their in house BHO guy.

step1. buy tamisium extracter
step2. ??????
step3. PROFIT

:woah:
