Really awesome, I took the pills, then my roommate woke up 30 minutes after, we went to a library and it started kicking in. The library was actually a used book store, found some awesome books! But like there were piles & towers of books everywhere, I had some kind of small hallucinations, I mean that I was seeing kinds of waves while looking at the books, it was so nice. Arrived home, way too relaxed, was listening the Flaming Lips Clouds Taste Like Metallic, while starting to read Plato's Apology (not sure of the title in english)... Anyway, it was the second time I tried Kratom, next time will be like 8 grams or maybe 9, I wanna see how it is with a big dose.
I really like Kratom to be honest, makes life so relaxed, really glad I bought 4 ounces hahaha!

I have never tried opiates, but I gotta say it was more than just relaxing, my body was kinda numb, I felt I could understand the thangs I was reading quite a lot more than the usual, couldn't compare with opiates, the effect was still kinda smooth, I made 10 grams into 17 pills for tomorow, I'll try with that much and post back about it.

m00nshine I also forgot to tell ya yesterday that kratom makes me really talkative, it is a really social high I think, I just took a walk with a friend and we talked a lot about life, about our mafia corrupted government that is gonna get fucked right over during the elections...etc.
I'll probably take the 10 grams today after noon, I'll let you know how it went!

OK, sounds good.
That's interesting that you feel it's a good social high; I feel that when I am on opiates I'm more talkative and upbeat, also.
Except for the r0n, I'll mumble a little bit and then retreat back into the warmness of that sweet, sweet intoxication. 
Can anyone else in this thread weigh in on the similarities between kratom and opiates?
Do you feel that the high is very similar to the high produced from opiates?
If so, which opiate does it most compare to?

Ive done opiates n kratom, kratom can easily get you opiated on the 11-20g doses, I think powder in orange juice is the most effective, if you do it in the evening youll be stoned for two days on a good 15g dose
I love it
shame I didnt buy any this month, shame on heroin mushrooms and cannabis land

The 10 grams of Kratom were kinda awesome, but I think ill stick with 8 grams, not that it was too intense, but it just takes so much ...
8 grams seems quite reasonable, I might try 15 grams one of these days, to check it out.
I ate the 10 grams at like 13:15, I started feeling it like 30 minutes after, then I burped and it tasted Kratom (which taste horrible). I did a game of League of Legends, was feeling quite awesome. Then I went on my balcony, smoked a tiny joint, which got me quite high for its size. Kratom and weed is a really a great combo, enhance the weed's potency.
Then I got bored and went to walk outside, went in a park and stayed there watching a beautiful view, while listening some great psychedelic music (Jefferson Airplane). I stayed there a couple of hours, at least 2 I think. Then I got bored and wanted to speak with someone, so I went to a bar, ordered a beer and started talking to the barman about how the education system here is fucked, how school should be free and how stupid paying for school is. He was really intelligent, he had a lot of valid arguments even tho I was not on the same side of view.
After that, I went back to my apartment where my roommate was finally awaken, then we smoked bong hits while listening to Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots vinyl by the Flaming Lips, the evening ended up on the balcony, where we talked about life, about music, about anthropology, about drugs, lots of subjects, while listening to the Beatles.
I got to say that I have found a new ally, the Kratom is really a wonderful plant.

The only thing I dislike with Kratom is the number of pills... 10 grams was 16 pills, which is kinda not fun to eat haha, but else than that, I am so happy I found this plant!

Yeah I cant stand eating enough pills to get high on kratom, I just eat the shit as is. I honestly didn't think it tasted bad

Dunno, when I tasted a tiny bit, it almost made me puke
But I heard in some coolaid, the taste just dissapear, but to be honest, eating 16 pills sure is a lot, but I mean all I do is get a huge glass of water, 1 pill per glou. 1 glou per pill. 1 pill-glou. lols It goes pretty well, but you gotta be thirsty...
