I am just curious why I have never seen any purps type strain crossed with blueberry? I have never had any grapey strain but it seems like it would be a natural complement to blueberry either with sweetness or color.. do the genes just not mingle well and each stays dominant or somethin? or purple bubblegum for that matter either??
A lot of people don't like to work with a true blueberry cause it has fruity thai in it. Blueberry strains have the tendency to go hermie cause of the fruity thai in it. Plus a true blueberry tends to have funky growth like twisty leaves.
Now the things that blueberry is famous for other strains now do better. Blueberry has a nice berry taste but nothing like a Grape Ape, or Sour Grapes and both those strains are easier to grow then the blueberry.

That is a good idea and if anybody could come up with a good purple pheno of Bubblegum they would be rich. Myself I'm not particularly fond of Bubblegum so I don't have much desire to work with it.
