that shit used to happen to me as well
though i kept smoking. i had to end up quitting anyway though
although i feel that when i start again ill be all good. there were a lot of factors involved in it.

i've been starting to get anxiety while smoking again recently, might be time to take a break again for me as well. It sucks, but it must be done. Gonna try to get a benzo scirpt next week it does wonders for anxiety.

One night my stupid whore ex girlfriend took off in a snow storm in the dark and left me with my homie in the park. It was some stupid argument (aren't they all) about which path to take or something.
I freaked the fuck out, literally passed out in the snow from a panic attack. I had it real bad for a few months after that. Stupid bitch almost ruined my real true love (MJ) for me. 
It got better. I just had to smoke through the panic  . Now I'm pretty good with it.

I used to get crazy anxiety from smoking, but then I just started smoking high amounts of sativa strains and learned how to control my anxiety. sativa's are also now my favorite

The only way to solve this problem is smoking bad weed or smoking a lot of good weed all the time to build jedi tolerance. The marijuana in 2012 is too good for people with anxiety or depression. 2 years ago I watched a smoking buddy have a full on panic attack after smoking some medical "purps", I laughed drove them home and kinda stopped smoking pot with them after that....... I'm still toking like a beast.

tolerance really doesn't play a part
i was smoking 3-4 grams a day of very good stuff out of my volcano before i quit. still had that anxiety though.
i feel its probably gone now though, there were a lot of other factors at play.
