Why do you smoke ?

What are your reasons for smoking weed ?

I smoke out of boredom

When im in pain

Before I go out for a really good meal

if I want to feel creative

To get to sleep and have better dreams

Mainly for sleep.

And I almost prefer keeping smoking as a nightly thing.


However at times like these (school) I will smoke when I'm bored, if I'm looking for a little inspiration for a project, before skating, after skating, and movies.

Also when I go out to buffet I usually toke.

Well after I first experimented with it, I smoked as an alternative to drinking at parties, since it's annoying being the only sober one.
But other reasons include: pain, nerves/anxiety, to sleep or relax, AND of course to have a good time :thumbup:

I sometimes smoke on weekends to wind down from a long stressful week at work. It also allows me to dream or at least remember my dreams where during the week I dont recall ever dreaming.

Im smoke because herb is medicine for the mind, body, and soul.

I cant think of any other man made medication that can do that.

Herb stimulates my creative mind, it also motivates me.

As users of marijuana we have to give the public a better opinion about us.

Dont just be lazy stoners who sit on the couch all day, use herb to assist in making a better life for yourself.

You probably smoke indica strains of herb, i like sativa/indica mixes it balances the high out nicely

if you smoke to much indica youll get couch-locked.

I made a thread about it a while ago (I think it was before the growery existed) but I get huge fits of motivation when I smoke also, im bipolar so sometimes I just feel like crawling under my bed and dying and Ill smoke then decide to do very constructive things which in turn makes me happier for the rest of the day (or even week) :laugh:

Just dont be smoking that indica during the day bro :laugh: save that for bed time :smile:

Yeah thats what i usually do, I dont smoke all that often so i have basically no tollerance so the stuff hits me hard. Last weekend i did get enough motivation to get up and go to eagle eye. great movie!

I smoke a lot probably 3-5 grams minimal a day, 7 on most days and up to 10 grams when it's just one of those days.

I basically smoke before and after lectures and labs. Before, after, and during working out. I'll smoke to pass out or for pain relief too. When drinking I usually smoke weed if I'm drinking in excess so I don't vomit I was at a wedding a month ago and smoked 10grams when I left the wedding for a couple hours and probably put back 75+ shots that night and didn't yak.

I'd say ultimately I smoke all day to get the desired effects and because I always have money and really good weed availible to me for really low costs. I have a few sources one guy charges me $120 for 42grams of outdoor stuff that's really good imho, another usually has og kush, lavender, jack herer and such for $70 a quarter but usually sells to me for $50bucks or $180 a ounce and I have a hippie neighbor that usually just gives me free weed because I hook him up with aquarium supplies and such.

I got into a motorcycle accident when I was younger. Screwed some stuff up pretty bad.

Helps my neck and back. I rarely every get to smoke though, and hopefully they legalize medical in my state. I was thinking about taking my IT degree and move to cali, but i'm broke as fuck....


Pills suck and dont help much :thumbdown:

I've drank 75 shots in a night a few times now, and I'm saying 75 shots minimal I can probably drink a lot more before I reach the point where I can't walk without falling. Also I didn't puke and I could walk fine and talk all those times... for the most part I only turn into a slurring mess when I stop drinking and I slow myself down. If you ever come up to visit I'll put down odds I can do it and make some money ;D you can even crash at my pad if you got enough money to bet - I'm also 240lbs and have a metabolism like a racehorse my chest is 50-53 inches, biceps 18.5/19inches if you wanna get an idea and I don't even drink weekly other than during the summer and even then it's iffy. (other than a beer with a meal or a shot with my neighbor, nothing more than a social drink)

How hard is it to smoke 10gr of weed in a day? Specially if you have it to burn and won't miss it. I actually know a lot of people who smoke 10-15gr a day I probably smoke 5-7 a day on average.... 10 is just when I smoke more than usual which is once or twice a week.

Well if I look at that wedding I started drinking at 5:30 and didn't stop drinking until 2-3 so it would be easy to say 10hours of drinking, having twice as much muscle mass as most people and being able to consume 10 000 calories a day and still lose weight; would also mean my metabolism is also at least 2-3x times stronger than the average human so I probably processed 30 ounces or so in that night closer to 40 considering my poison is southern comfort or jagermeister.. I don't see a problem with my claim even being believable :-D

We need to meet, fuck I would love to have a script, im such a fucking alcoholic and I love it, but my body hates me sometimes for it.
But I smoke weed because it makes me not drink so many alcoholic beverages. Weed needs to be legal anyway..its natural. the laws are so fucked up! :smileyfrog:

I'm sure a lot of people would or at least have alcohol poisoning much before. I've seen people get there stomaches pumped after a 5th. Any night I'm dancing I end up drinking tons.

Oh yeah forgot to answer in my last post. Hmmmm...why I smoke....Simpsons are coming on. Going surfing, harvesting a new strain, about to hit up a fat rack of BBQ ribs, watching a killer band live, and many other reasons.
