I say stick with one halide and one sodium...you'll get a broader spectrum of light.

I would agree with 81 if he was running 4-5 lights. From what I've read and experimented with myself you don't get benefits from adding MH until you get up to that many lights. If you only have 2 keep them both HPS.

I myself run MH only from veg through flower, so if you want to know what I really suggest, its d)none of the above, get 2 MH bulbs.

Really? I tried that and yield were def. lower with MH.

When I tested this, I found MH to yield less, but tends to have a higher resin production.
HPS yields much better over all.
If I were to mix the two again it would be two HPS's and One vertical MH ratio.

QFT. I don't cash-crop, so yield doesn't play into my equation. I love the end product I get from using halides start to finish, but if you're not just growing head-stash, HPS will get you more product.
