I have a 5x5x7 tent and i draw fresh/cool air in from ducting out my window, but its too cold outside now to have fresh air drawn in when the light is not on, so i wanna know, you all think its fine to have no fresh air drawn into the tent during the 12 hour dark cycle?

I think you'll be fine. My girl and I had our set up essentially the same way. Well, we had the light off during the hottest part of the day though. 2:30-8:30pm. We kept the intake fan off at night though, because it got too cold.
Is there any way you can turn the "out" air on and leave the "intake" off? That way, the tent will be able to draw in the ambient air from the room, and still get some fresh air... or possibly get a myco bag to throw in there? That's only 20-30 bucks, and they last for a month or two.
