 Howto: Roll a joint (with step by step pictures)

I decided to make a contribution to the forum by writing a guide to rolling joints. Seems a lot of people have trouble rolling a decent joint, though many have no trouble. So here it goes for all those who are interested...
Step 1: gather papers and weed
Step 2: break up weed and lay out a paper with the gum side facing up (the finer you break it up the better. A grinder is optional but suggested, spacecase ones are nice. They make the weed nice and fluffy, easy to work with)
Step 3: Add some tobbacco (OPTIONAL: works well to add volume so you can use less weed, here I use a little to increase the buzz. it def is more relaxing with the combo)
Step 4: mix the tobacco (OPTIONAL: again this is if you chose to add tobacco)
Step 5: Fill the paper evenly as possible (for first times u can make it fatter in the middle, makes it easier to avoid spilling)
Step 6: Fold the side towards you up and over the weed and gently tuck it slightly under the weed. Take the pointer and middle finger on both hands and tighten the joint by "pulling" the tucked side towards you using these fingers as it is layed in the picture above. After u have it tightened, roll the joint over a couple times and pick it up (using your thumbs and fingers to hold it closed). Now lick the gummed area and press it against the rolled joint.
Step 7: Now all you need now is a lighter, fire that bitch up up or optionally lace it with hash oil as I plan to do (HINT: when lacing a joint with hash oil make sure its at least normal fatness so it burns nice and slow. This makes sure you get the chance to inhale the maximum amount of hash oil as when it burns too fast more goes up in thin air)

What I find is best, after you load the weed and tuck it in, lick the entire rest of the paper, put it on a flat surface, and roll it up pretty tightly. Wetting it makes the process a lot smoother, seals it better, and then when I'm done I run the lighter under it a few times to seal it even more.
I hardly ever smoke j's but it always works out when I do.

i can't roll for shit, when i used to smoke brick weed i just bought one of those joint rollers at the store. rolled me a perfect joint every time 
now i just smoke out of bongs and bubblers.
you should make a blunt rolling guide too, i've watched some where they separate the blunt paper and essentially roll it twice, i'm not sure why. i wouldn't mind smoke a fat blunt right now.

yeah I actually wrote the blunt rolling guide on overgrow.com but that website got shut down... maybe I can find it archived. if I can I'll repost it. or might rewrite it sometime

I use one of these:
The paper on the top tends to come off after a little while, but that only makes it easier to roll

just figured I'd write something for growery... checked it out n hankeys got his own style which is nice too but I kinda like mine rolled evenly but thats my preference. to each their own
