 I would like some advice on my first grow room.

I'm getting ready to start making my first grow room in my attic. But I wonder if it will be big enough or how big i should make it. Id like to grow at the most 12 plants. Probably a sea of green meathod considering it is an attic the ceilling isnt very high. But I was thinking of it being an 8x8 area do you guys think this is enough space or do I need more?

8x8 is plenty room enough for 12 plants in a sea of green.
There are a lot of factors to consider when setting up your space, and # of plants is only one of them.
I would get a good grow book and read it cover to cover a few times, then come back and ask some more detailed questions. Good Luck!

I will thank you very much I've been researching and reading about how to go about this for 4-5 years seeing what I could do or want to do and I finally have it pretty much all planned out. The strains the lighting the ventilation every aspect of the room but I do still have some doubts and I thank you for your help and advice I hope I get the chance for more advice later and I hope you come back to offer your much need advice when I start my grow log in the matter of a couple weeks I hope.

Hello! Thank you, I feel very welcomed. I've used the site for information for awhile and am becoming a regular on the sister site shroomery. I was having doubts on how much space I should use to grow 12 plants organically(hopefully 6 vegging and 6 flowering). Like I posted I was planning on using an 8x8 area in my attic but its only about 5 feet tall so I was going to use a sea of green method so I don't have to grow them as tall.

I have just finished reading The Cannabis Grow Bible. I thought I new a lot about cultivating cannabis. I now know more than double of what I knew a week ago. The best thing is I only want to learn more! I'm so excited to start cultivating and experimenting! I've put my grow room construction at a maximum speed.

what kind of lighting are you planning on using? Have you thought about doing a SCROG set up? i think that would be best due to your height restrictions and space. I actually ran into a similar problem. i am in the process of converting my attic, though i have quite a bit more space ahaha.
keep us posted and im sure all of us will be happy to help out with what we can.
