I have three possible solutions for you, but keep in mind I am still on my own first grow, so I may be wrong.
First off, when you describe the cotyledons curling up and in, I immediately thought heat stress. But, according to what I know, the best temps to be at is between 75 and 80 F. So it may be that. Maybe try getting the light a little farther away from the plants..
It also may be the PH. As far as I know, you don't want your PH to go above 6.0... I don't have my bible in front of me ATM, but I think the range you want for DWC is 5-6...
Fuck... I smoked my wake-n-bake while typing that, and now I can't remember the third thought thing I wanted to mention... damn. Sorry man.

OH!! Do you have airflow going through there? Plants need fresh air just like we do. Plants use the carbon dioxied around their leaves within a matter of minutes, and without a fan gently blowing air around they can be stifled and stunted.
I don't think that was my original though, but I better post this now so you can figure things out. Lol sorry for the stoned morning ramblings...

Hmm... then I am flummoxed, my good sir.
But I would not recommend using nutes just yet. I think they're a bit young yet for that... I had been told to wait to feed till the cotyledon's wither and fall off from age... you should have at least two nodes of growth before then, I believe...
