im looking into making a d.i.y. kief box to kief my trim and popcorn buds...maybe some larger buds if i like the hash enough.
im wondering, is the plant material useable after being kiefed? could i still smoke it or make butter from it? obviously it wont be as potent.
i know before i had home grown i never saw trichs on my buds. i was told it was because the canadians kief all their export bud for hash. the bud always got me high, but it took a bit more.

Why should that mean it isn't real?
I've smoked bud that was lightly dry-sifted and it was okay for joint smokin', but if you're going to heavily work the material than just make butter with it.
Try freezing your bud/trim before you break it up at all, and than back in the freezer until you're ready to do your dry-sift run.
