I've been going through the same shit with my mom this week. Being back home from college, where I had virtually unlimited freedom, and suddenly being put on a tight leash for bitchy reasons sucks major dick.

I know!! Went I was in college three hours away, life was cake. Now im at school close to home, so I commute. It sucks.

The shitty thing about my position is that my mother is a substitute teacher at the high school I graduated from last year, and some bastard ratted me out to her about all of my illicit activities that she never knew I did.
And this was after I admitted to her that I had been drinking/smoking in college, so it wasn't as if she was completely clueless to me doing stuff. She just never knew it all started in high school.
Luckily my younger brother has helped convince her that I was reasonably responsible with all of my adventures, which has seemingly mellowed her out a bit over the last few days.

Funny, my older sister ratted me out to my mom. She cried when I told her about me smoking, asking "who have you become." I laugh at that question. I dont waste my time educating them, ive tried, it never works. They will remain biased, unmovable people.

Thankfully my mom is the only one in the family who is horribly closed-minded like that. My dad doesn't support it, but as long as I don't fuck up in school because of drugs or whatever he doesn't see it as a problem.

My dad was/is a big musician, so he cant say shit about doing drugs  my sisters, one is a big party girl, the other is a prude. I just dont see where I fit or contribute in my family. Oh well.

Yeah, I have the same thing going on living with my parents.. Me and my mom are like 99% sure my dad is seriously bi-polar, but there's no way in hell we could ever talk him into getting checked out.. Us doubting his mental health wouldn't really help the situation either. My mom gets really really stressed and worries a lot, her heart isn't in the best shape either, so when she gets stressed she has to take a bunch of pills, I spend day and night obsessing over, questioning, and worrying about every facet of my existence, so the whole walking on eggshells sensation and the outbursts really take a toll on both of us.
I can't wait to move out, I think it'd make things easier for everyone, I can't wait to finally stop covering shit up and be able to live peacefully. I've gotten so secretive from my parents it's insane, I trust my mom sometimes, but often times she worries and ends up talking about it with my dad, so I tread carefully. Really though, it'd blow their minds how many things I've actually kept them from knowing all these years. It's seems so strange having to mindfuck my parents as often as I do, just to try to avoid conflict.

Sorry to be rude but this is some of the faggiest shit I have ever heard. Grow a pair and move the fuck out. Quit worrying about money. Lots of people live on minumum wage. I fucking did for years. How can look yourself in the mirror at 20 years old knowing you have to be home at 11? I'm laughing at you.
