That would be awesome but I'm out near the desert in California......used to live no more than 5 mins to the coast the last 23 years in FL though.

Ah shit. I live on a lake, so once it hits June I can always go swimming 
How broke is broke? $0? If you've got $10 and a few homies with $10, its always fun to have a cookout. Everyone bring some cheap hotdogs or a package of hamburger and BYOB is never a bad time.

Not exactly sure what you're definition of fun is, but when I was living out of my car and had to find ways to keep myself occupied during the day I found a few things to waste time. None of them matter after GeoCaching though..

i like to pop some mushrooms and go to the dollar movies, its not free but its a better alternative than watching a new 20$ 3D movie

All these are cool suggestions but they all require something I dont have like the ocean, gps, mushrooms, or a movie that's worth going to see.

I think I'd like to learn a new instrument like trumpet....... but I hear it's very hard to learn and gets even harder the older you are.
