So, I'm noticing most new laptops have a webcam built in.
Does that make anyone else nervous? I mean, mine has a little LED that lights up to let you know its on, but I'm still  as fuck about it.
Think of all the weird shit you do in front of your PC. And I don't even mean just cranking one out to scat porn. I mean the really weird shit you do when you think you're alone (singing to your dog, summoning satan, etc).
Imagine if there were a bunch of Japanese dudes sitting around choking their chicken watching you eat chicken wings without wiping your face off until you're done because you thought nobody could see you.
That said, I put a sticker over mine until I want to use it, just in case.

Not just laptops, think cell phones, tablets, and whatever else they can stick a camera on.
I'm sure there are ways for people to hi-jack these devices for their own use, the fed's already can use your cellphone as a tracking and listening device, why wouldn't they have the ability to use the camera as well?
People will pay cash to get their privacy invaded.

I know people who use their driod's for dirty business and it makes me cringe. I want to crack into these things to prove how unsafe they can be. I remember not to long ago about a guy figuring out a new method to eavesdrop on calls.

They make me a little paranoid too.. Sooo many things would be easily set up with a microphone transmitter/camera.. Like the boxes that you need so you can watch Comcast.. They look like they could have a camera somewhere..

I have the GPS function turned off.

Yeah, these new gps enabled droids have me kinda sketched!
You can disable it, but still. I take a picture of my girls and itwill put the location on the pic or movie. Other apps use gps aswell. Mobile facebook now publishes your cell number to your contacts as well as location if you wish. The webcams were definitely cool for hackers. You could get access and then fuck with the poor pedophile on the other end. Or just to take still pics of whoever is in front of the pc.
Pretty much all the new technology has potential to be invading your privacy. Scary shit!
On another note, did anyone see the show on msnbc "INSIDE A CRACK HOUSE"? Talk about invasion of privacy. The police set up a rental house with camera's throughout and watched these dealers live their lives. Now that's whacked!
