A little update, everythings ready! Spoke to soon saying my ebb and grow ran perfect. A few things had to be worked out but now its perfect.
edit: Incase anyones intrested those are 1500 watt hps lights.

Roughly as the plants fill in more like a 5x4ft space. I prefer plants grown under intense light, usually I use 1000w hps lights. I'm hoping for even larger nugs with the extra 500w per bulb. Already my float valves went out on my controller, having a new one dropped off tonight. So hopefully things will be up and running soon. Always seems to be something but once they are in I'm expecting smooth sailing.

Will do, I was planning to let this be almost a grow journel with a focus on the equipment. The lamps and ebb and grow are new to me so expect some bumps in the road. All the quirks in the room are worked however the system seems to keep showing new issues. The strain this round will be 2 selections of blueberry. Blueberry #4 is a super dense indica dominate plant with a extreme coating of trich's. Blueberry #1 is of average density with large buds, a extreme incensey odor to lingering smoke and also extremely coated in trich's. Last round in the same room only in sunshine mix and 1000's yeilded 8 1/2lbs of whiterussian after 110 days of flower. That was a special pheno I found that takes forever to finish but has insane yields of superior product, why else save a 110 day indica dom plant?

Why lie? Yeah the yield seems excessive but 110 days i could have pulled 2 4-6lb crops strain dependent. So actually I lost yeild but I really like this plant and will keep her around. She probably wont get another comercial go again but she will stick around. I made hundreds of seeds from her and her keeper sister just incase.
edit: Almost forgot they vegged for 2 weeks I think. Topped once, then once the branches were on there 3-4th node and established straight to flower. 110's is what we believe it went to give or take 3 days cause I dont remember the exact date only week.

After this round, I'm open to suggestions but I'm leaning towards Bubblegum (THSeeds) so they can meet my blueberry gals. In the collection right now I have mendo purpsx sfv og kush, sour dieselx sfv og kush, Tahoex sfv og kush, Bubble gum, Jamacian(cali connection), chemdx jamacian, The white bx, and Herijuana. These all have to be run and seeded in the next 2 years for the seed library so I can move on to something else.

Alright, talk about service! My local store owner picked me up bought beer went back to the shop and bullshitted. Now I have my new controller and a bunch of left over beer, also got dropped back off at my front door now thats service! I don't recommend anyone becoming friends with their local store owner but when he's a good friend why not?

Yeah but the whole batch of white russian was wierd. I recieved the back last spring from serious seeds via attitude. Out of 12 seeds 1 did not germ and 1 eaten by a cat. The rest went under a 1000 watt under 24 hrs light. This is where things got intresting. 3 of the females and 4 of the males decided to auto on me(now I believe it was do to being root bound). What could I do, but enjoy a open pollenation amongst them? This resulted in hundreds of seeds. Now if your paying attention I only have 2 females and a male that didn't auto left. Finally over the summer they where cloned and ran. Now the realation between the 2 females is intresting. Both looked and tastd completely different but both their flowering times were both 100+ days. The 110 day pheno was more indica in look and high the 100 day pheno leafier, and more sativa with a strong vanilla scent vs the 110 dayer which was skunky. Yeah strange the indica had a longer flowering time. So both these were pollenated by the only non flowering male hoping to preserve these plants. As far as details on the male I can only assume a 100 day plant as the other 2 non autos both went as long. I get the feeling the auto batch would not have auto provided more root space and I suspect thats where your average 55-65 days plants may reside.
The blueberry plants both finish in 70 days give or take 5 days. We will know for sure this round to the day.
edit: After checking my seeds I only had 2 auto females and the rest were males. Otherwise I'd have 3 of those packs.

Okay my new controller keeps flooding now? WTF am I doing wrong? Its assembled to the instructions, a new controller. Why would it keep overflowing? 2 bad controllers? I'm about to go soil again I don't have time for these problems. Shouldn't it be able to flood as long as I want without overflowing?
edit: Update, it works now for some mysterious reason. So moving forward.

I am sure you checked to make sure the hole in the elbow inside the res is not clogged? this would create the siphon effect to overflow your controller bucket.
Are you using the 2 gal ebb and grow kit?

Anyone know the maximum lumens per sq ft before bleaching occurs? I'm noticing yellowing which looks like a mg defficency, just not sure if its because of the speed of their metabolism or light bleaching. PPms are at 1080 and ph at 6.5. Running flora nova grow with floralicous plus and cal mag(very light because I havent set the RO up yet). Any ideas, its lights out will take some pics when they come back on?
edit: Its was a mg deficency due to too fast of metabolism. They look perfect again with yesterdays addition of cal mag. I got nervous there for a second cause I passed my other lights on.lol New development this new controller just went out also. Thats two down lets hope this third one holds out. Now I have to run to the store again! Guess I may have to keep running back and forth till I get a controller that can run longer then a week. I heard the float valves had problems but this is getting ridiculous.

Well I have the new controller, my guy at the store pulled off a miracle! Love my local store. So it should be hooked up within the hour. I think I will update every 5 days with photos its been 3 since the last. That way you can really see the difference even though right now they are ridiculous everyday I see them right now but thats due to the flower stretch.

Sorry I have been slacking. So Its day 11..... Almost forgot just turned the co2 on, wasn't running it earlier because I was worried it would add to the stretch as my head room isn't much for 1500w lamps.

So a new plan has come around once this round is over. Next will be 2 bonzai 360's with 4 1.5kw bulbs.
edit: Sorry tank333 the light foot print is about 5"x4" for each light, so thats the sq footage used.

Those are so very cool though!! Way out of my expertise and price range at the moment, but VERY cool nontheless...
It does say that they "reccommend" up to a 1k watt bulb. The 1500 isn't going to be too big for it?

Yeah, it looks like it wont be possible to run 1.5kw so the idea may be out. Right now they are drinking 12-15 galllons of water a day and consuming 400-500 ppm's of nutes. In soil blueberry was a light feeder but man she can eat in the ebb and grow. Here they are day 18......

Well, I wouldn't discount it completely just yet. I would think the only reason they put "up to 1k" is because that a 1k light is the most commonly used light. The 1500 watt light is relatively new, isn't it? If nothing else, it might just be that the plug that's stock isn't rated for that many watts, and it would be a simple matter to replace it with one that works.
I really want to see you do this, so I shot off an email to their store (it was too late to call when I thought about it). Hopefully in the next couple days I'll have an answer as to whether or not you'll be able to use the 1500 watt bulbs in this system.

Well it totally seems doable, the only problem will be light bleaching. The distance from the tip of the plant to the bulb just isn't enough spacing. I will know for sure in the next 2 weeks on exactly how close to the bulb I can get. I know 4 1.5 kw on 2 bonsai 360 still just sounds amazing, we shall see how this all works out. Also the tubes for cooling the bulbs would have to be a minimal of 8in. Now only if they could water cool those tubes I think the bulbs would work effortlessly. Will do another update tonight, they are growing so fast that the difference every 2 days is unbelieveable. This growth should mellow out soon and all energy should be for making dense nuggets. The room doesn't even smell like weed, it smells like a freshly opened package of ceder insence with a very "sour", best I can describe it not the sour diesel aroma. The odors of these plants seems unreal like it really is incense then cannabis.

Lifes like a snowball. For this too fuck up would be a impossiblity. Problem with snowballs they need a clear path otherwise they hit a tree while getting larger. Just hope your the snow ball that makes it to the bottom of the hill and crushes the ski lodge.

Thats what happens when you have a infenite supply of flying dog beer. It would make hunter himself jealous.
Sorry they cant spread they will grow in. The weight would collapse tomato cages so they are zip tied so the weight evenly supports together. Don't worry they will fill fine, just watch and see.
edit: Some of the outer colas will be tied to the cages, only on the left side which is the view you see. The right, I kind of forced them through the cages so it wouldn't be a problem. The reason I did that is because I will not be able to get to that area ever until harvest.

unrelated subject: Do you know how hard it is to ferment doubles. I'm a brewer but I won't say more but I can't do it myself. All jokes aside I am getting 2 large fermenters for my garage and my hard guys going in on a still. BATF approved . We are opening a small brewery and distillery. Only rum will be distilled. It will be completely local only for now. We may step forward but in this area city permits are not easy to come buy.

Yeah, its DJ shorts true blueberry. Not a smell outside of the room with that filter, it really can handle alot. I forget what its rated and the brand but its a 10 incher and about half the weight of a can fan and just as efficent.

Okay so let me get this straight. 31 days last month and 10 this month so 41, but i started on the 6th so its day 35.
Yeah, you guys can really see now how much my camera sucks. Before I could hide it with my distance pics. They seem really hard to take these days, too far and its slivery too close and its all lines. So I'm doing the best I can. Why havent I bought a new camera? Well all I can say is I'm very busy.

As you can see a couple tops have bleaching on the tips. Just too much lumens, heat isn't playing a factor. Also you can tell the fan leaves in the middle just can't get enough nutes because of the amount of light they are exposed to. All other plants are in perfect health, so I really don't want to up their dosage too much.

I apologise I have been misinterpiting things lately, since I injured myself. Opiates make me very grumpy. I could delete my first response but it should be noted this isn't the normal me. My wife had to point it out. I have been seriously on edge cause of the hydromorphone. It really makes me grumpy as shit. Getting xrays tomorrow.

Well that was with the 110 day flowering of white russian. I'm expecting 6lbs+ this time cause they will probably only go to day 70. We shall see. I don't even know why my doc gave me 8mg hydromorphone. Told my friend about them and he was amazed i'm still alive after eating them. I have surgery monday. What will they give me next for after surgery a kilo of h?lmao I didn't realise what they were giving me till i asked my buddy. Also the fact I was drinking on them surely doesn't help.

Well I tore my meniscal. The doc completely explained to me, however I was in so much pain and with the meds I just don't completely undrstand what they are doing. Problem is I'm going to be doing work on the roof soon installing solar panels so we will see how this goes.

Yeah I'm installing a 10kwh module and probably 7kwh worth of panels depending on how many fit because I do have odd shapes to my roof. My leg is better so updates will be tonight. They gave me percocetes after the surgery. Wtf? Why downgrade, oh well its not as bad as I thought it would be. So in about 3-4hrs after this post expect updates.

Well I'm glad you made your way over here. Can't wait I might be coming your way in october. I discussed the visitation orally, nothing in stone yet. You get to see my trichocereus! I only get to see them once a season if I'm lucky but thats going to change soon. I'm expecting them to be taller then me. If they are only chest hieght I will still be thrilled. Hopefully they are still all there. I know there are locals who camp/live next to the property so hopefully they havent noticed since they have gotten quite large. I planted 250 last time I was down to 150 because I lost some to grazing animals and the rest to mother nature. Yeah my mom, the owner of the property allows the neighbors animals to graze so the vegatation stays low. Theres no house on the property just 10 acres of free range.

I have a small plot out of sight but hunters can be a problem along with the pigs. And indoor isn't an option for me with kids and renting.

To my surprise my personal flo finished already, before the leeching so its going to have to hang on for a second. I really didn't anticipate that but whatever I get my smoke first. Pics will come shortly, the flo was the first 3x3 plants from there back is blueberry.

Guess I just was under the notion flo was more sativa. Guess the sativa is in the flavor and taste and not growth. This was a shorty and low yeilding but quick as can be because its only day 53.
edit: Another disappointment of mine is the lack of color, however my nights are 70 and days are 78-79F. Probably not a good combo for color. Well next round I hope cause I havent started the bubblegum yet. I haven't made enough seeds yet of all the phenos. Heres some lights on picks as you can see the blueberry is still rocking while the flo decided its time.

Okay, so I'm on the train right now sittin across this super hot chick. Alright, that's cool but what's with the scarf around the neck? No I'm not in thailand, stateside. The thailand was in reference to the fact that I learned not to judge a book by its cover and to be very careful with my interactions. Didn't take a pic, still don't know what was off with this lady she was pretty and most defietly female(after closer examination) but something kept telling me DONT! So I have no idea, for all I know she could have been undercover Homeland security. Something was definetly strange I just don't know what.
Anyways besides last nights fiasco, I changed the rez again. I change every 2 days during the flushing/leaching period. 5 more days till harvest, took some samples, quality is up but the taste isn't strong enough yet. Somehow the incensy flavor on the trial round in soil hasn't seemed to carry over in the hydro. Maybe I miss labeled, we shall see after the flush and drying. Either I have a huge room of flo and small amount of blueberry or I got my labels right and for some reason im lacking those incensy terepines. The previous samples resulted in a superior incensy product. We shall see... Anyway I will put some updates tonight.
edit: Wondering if those terpines for the incensey smell lay within the plant material and if they are water soluble. Is it possible I flushed(hydro)taste out? Never heard of such a thing but I don't know as much as I'd like about terpines.

Not in michigan yet, just getting equipment ready and preping. I'm going to do a large warehouse there. It all depends if I can track enough patients down to provide for because it seems that the dispenasry's do their own thing. Guess I thought they could provide me with the patients.

Omfg! I haven't even gotten through my tinest plant in the corner yet. I could tell you guys a guestimate but you wouldn't believe it! So I'm going to leave it to the numbers when alls said and done. Putting up some pics(5min).
Thats all from this plant, as you can see there is still some left. Also these are abnormally dense so they may not seem so huge but when they dry and hit the scale its ridiculous. Also left a cig pack in there for size purposes(above)

Those popcorn buds I can't even call them popcorn they are .50 cent piece size and probably dry bettween 2g-4g a piece. 4 being the boarderline popcorn thats almost too large to call popcorn but they still are. Im not refering to the colas those seem bettween 10-20 gms depending on if it was the dominate cola or not. These are just guestimates on them they will be weighed after drying. Usually I hang my plants but I don't have time to get more tomato cages shipped in so I have to cut them out.

Thats a 120 gallon tank if that also helps for reference. Typical US coke can also. So im guessing 4+ oz from that one but we shall see.

MICHIGAN MMJ:
Each caregiver is allowed 5 patients plus his own personal amount of plants: 12 for each person up to 72 total for a fully loaded caregiver. I don't believe there is a minimum requirement to the amount of time you have to be a resident in order to be a caregiver.
Many people are "sharing space" and growing many more than 72 plants under the guise that multiple caregivers are responsible for the plants (like a co-op). Documentation is key in a situation like that. And because of this people are growing larger plants (duh), it may not be necessary to bring in other caregivers/patients to acquire the yield you're looking for. Keep in mind the FEDERAL law mandates a minimum sentence for having over 100 rooted plants! There have been at least 5 federal busts in my area because of excessive plant numbers though they haven't all led to convictions.
Some communities have passed ordinances to NOT allow multiple caregivers to grow in the same residence. The capitol city Lansing for instance. Some places have banned MMJ, like some of the wealthier communities north of Detroit.
The state doesn't care if you grow outdoors IF it is in a "closed locked facility" ie. a fence with a padlock.
warehouses are not the best idea, or the cheapest. With the recent housing market crash, there are tons of properties available all throughout the state for CHEAP!!!! like $10k-50K for nice houses with some land. A rural situation is much more preferable than an urban one when taking on a venture such as this. Even though we may be legal under the state law, there are still lots of stupid people that will break into your place and steal your shit if you're not careful. Urban areas tend to house more of those stupid people in closer proximity to people like us. Makes me uncomfortable. I know people that have had relatives killed over grow op heists. Too much flippant disregard for discretion in the urban areas. Even though this is legal now, old-school tactics still remain the safest route to success.
As for the vote, I would go bubblegum, I don't like the idea of a strain named after an evil government contractor. And I like sativas more (is BG even more sativa?)

Lmao, I don't know anyone who buys only a quarter. Yeah its my cell camera, it sucks really bad. Only finished 3 plants so far heres what I got from them....(pics in a sec).

I dont know I think warehouse's are cheaper found a 28,000 sq ft built in 2005 for 199k but is for lease so I'm assuming 3k or les a month(still waiting on a response from the owners). My partner and I are going in on it so that would be 140 plants total on 80 lamps and 40 1500 watt ballasts. Still aways away, next fall already ordered equipment. Don't worry I wont forget about you guys here when that happens will still post pics. Its still seems like forever away but shit years are passing like days these days.

I think your warehouse idea is good, but I'd caution you to not go over 100 plants... from everything I can tell about everyone who's been raided, its the people who grossly extend the letter of the law to have a shit-ton of plants... I should think that 100 would be sufficient, wouldn't it? And if you're wanting more even so, maybe consider an alternate site where you keep your mothers and clones, so you can always have 100 plants in flower?

per person, but the theory is to have multiple sites with like 95 plants and they only find one. If they catch you with multiple you're fucked, but the point of having more than one is to prevent that.

Alright I'm back, tomorrow is my birthday!  Started some bubblegum moms 6 seeds went in all came up. Actually its 5 bubblegum from thseeds and 1 freebie bubbleicious. This is going to be the last blueberry round. We will be following my breeding tent(descriptions later) and the room again. I have very high hopes for the crosses being made. Just can't wait to see if I get a bubblegummy bubblegum. I will post pics sometime this week. have my hydroton rinsed just need to add my plants. This should happen tonight but I have guests coming by to chow on some wood fired chicken which I'm about to whip up. So we shall see... Also I have access to some super lemon haze clones so we shall see if I decide its worthy. It will enter my breeding tent regardless but I have heard nothing but rave reviews on this cut. Might throw some herijuana cuts in there also depending if I have room. Don't think I forgot about you guys, I'm back again full-time. Now I must go chop some wood.

Almost forgot a few upgrades, using melon heads, r/o is hooked up, heat is vented from the ac unit directly to the sewer, and a few others. Talk to u guys soon!

Thanks, yeah it was in the 8lb range not sure exact numbers asit took too long to trim and some got moved before the total weight was added up. Yep it is nice fishing all day, however I have to get my plants in asap because they are getting too tall. Luckily this ones not a stretcher or I'd be in trouble. Should be a decent harvest this round but I really want it to be over with because my excitement for the bubblegum is killin me.

That is true about bowfins, I have heard gar balls is the way too cook them up. Supposedly they are pretty good. Have them in the freezer will let you guys know how they are in a couple days. Well I slacked too much on transplanting so hieght maybe a problem we shall see. Thats what happens when you trade a pot habit for a fishing habit. They are all going in, in 15 mins.Supposed to be out fishing at this hidden lake my friend found, looks untapped. My punishment for being so lazy is now I can't go.

Almost forgot Im also taking cuts today for the breeding tent, 2 phenos of the largest best tasting white russians, flo, 2 phenos of my favorite blueberries, and some super lemon haze cuts from a friend. These are all getting crossed by my super sour ceder incense tasting flo male. These will make for some very tasty large yielding offspring. Too bad my bubblegums arent large enough yet but they will go in there next round! Should have a few thousand seeds.

Alright this round in my mind is fucked. Not because of my procrastination, but because the water level isnt riseing to its fullest. Working to see if a 30 minute flood works. weird thing is the ends of the lines are doing great its the middle that isnt doin it. Guess I shouldn't have had the wife help. Everyone she did it seems the block is above flood level. Hoping this 30 min does the trick. Otherwise you can all make fun of my ass for letting the wife help. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

She better feel lucky I havent zip-tied those cages yet or that be her ass. Its drain trail ran twice and its 4 hrs past my bed time. That lady is lucky I have oxycodone to mellow myself out.(that sounded bad shes lucky I can still smile is what I ment)

Well I had to remove a piece of hydroton that lodged in a tube. Of course it was almost the last tube to be checked. I put wire screens over the drain opening so that cant happen again. It most have fell in there during setup and got pulled in.

Thought they were 3 but hey I can be wrong. Anyway this round started off rough with the clogs. Then a 5 day blackout with zero power, needless to say my electrican is wireing a 12kw generator to my panel that operates on natural gas. As if that wasn't enough now my bulb had what looks like a sodium flare up that melted right through my bulb. Whats next? Don't know but it cant be fun! Oh and I had to drive into a tornado to see if my dogs were okay when it caused all the destruction that took the power out. Figured as long as I could see it, it would be okay cause I could dodge it. Anyway it was like something out of a movie with giant trees collapsing all around me. Fucking Crazy!!!! Yeah my house made it, many houses all around had giant trees and power lines on them. First and hopefully the last time I purposely drive at a tornado.
edit: the dogs were in the house.

Thanks! Think I'm going to let them go till the tenth. Hopefully the few extra days increase that blueberry taste I'm trying so hard to coax out of this plant in hydro. Soil she did maintain the taste, I think last rounds leaching for 7 days wasn't enough. They are going for a 15 day leach this time. Bubblegum cuts from 6 different moms have been taken, so soon as this gets harvested the very next day they should be going in. The bubblegum is from THseeds, and smells wonderful even in veg. Only running 2 runs of bubblegum because I need to go through my seeds to prserve the genetics faster. First run of bubblegum is to find my top 2 plants, next round to only run those 2. This give me sufficent time to keep the bubblegum line pure and a few cross breeds. After that its on to tahoe og, black water or sour dieslx sfv og. Hopefully by next summer I will have all this completed. If not I will have my guy at another op the job to create the seeds to keep me caught up. Reason I'm in such a hurry is I have another 30 land race, and a couple hybrids I will be working through. Mostly asian, african, himalyan and south american strains.

7lbs and a lb for myself. The blueberry taste is slightly there but increases with a good cure. A little too stoney and amotivational for my tastes but most love it. Bubblegum is entering the veg tent tonight and hopefully in 2 weeks stright to the system. Got this one the other day....

Shops being shut down and reopened in a med state. Met the sweetest lady, should be a adventure. After 2 rounds there a warehouse will be up and running, lets hope this works. Lost alot to make this possible but gained everything.

Okay 2 weeks till move is fully accomplished. Running only highland oaxacan gold for a few rounds just to get peoples attention in the new neighborhood. Typically I never realse this strain to the public but if I'm to stand out amongst the rest of growers this will do it. So expect in 20 days this place to be flooded with new pics. I will miss the salmon runs, but there are plenty of fish where I'm going. Expect plenty of new hybrids also. Wish me luck, I'll need it moving with my broken ribs,lol. My new lady is a professional kickboxer and stomps some shit.
Forgot to mention I just got a real job also starting at $50 a hour then $70 after training is complete.
Almost forgot bubblegum is out they all autoed on my hiatus. might let them seed up for another try but with the move and all doesnt seem very possible.

Not sure yet on dimensions I'm putting my new lady in charge of finding the place because shes in the same business. In fact she pulled a bad ass outdoor crop off this year. Due to recent developments this garden will maintain running also. The ex is in charge of this one with my guidence so she can continue the business elsewhere also. So there will be 2 rooms now.
Its going to be very busy from here on out but I can handle it. The new room will be a spitting image of the other give or take square feet and height. Guess I got to drop another 10k on equipment but its all worth it.

My new lady is pregnant, have a baby on the way! Going to be tough as nails and crazy as shit with our mix of genes. Never found a lady worth breeding with till now. Only took 32 years... Going to make as many as possible so government look out! So this weekend I go to see a employee I releaved from work. Well there was a party going on. Seemed scketchy from the begining when we saw a cop stationed up on the corner but we thought he was clocking for speeders. So we arrive and he saw me at the door but didnt answer. Wierd I thought, he must be busy or something so we go to the back to go in and everyone all of a sudden are running out the other gate to leave except a few guys. Well that was wierd but we went in anyway. Opened are bottle of vodka and began drinking despite the wierdness, waiting on my guy to come out. This meeting was to explain why he no longer works for me and is on his own now. Well he didnt come out so my new lady went to get the pipe and weed to smoke. Her and my guy were greeted with 4 ar-15's and a swat team moving in. They shut the whole block down and surround the place listening outside the fence to determine the threat. So the head officer says there was a call of a kiddnapping at gun point. Guess he freaked cause my crew was there with me. We had no bad intentions just a peace making job. So the first thing out of his mouth is the owner of mental stability. They had been listening for some time and determined the threat probably wasnt real. They didnt check id's or look for guns, just wanted us to leave. So when they entered the residence they smelled weed and found his pick up from somebody else, a large load. So they arrest him for the herb(2lbs+)and his aunt for false report. Guess thats karma. Anyway what a night and this was all by 9pm we got drunk and rowdy after that at the bars. Oh, well people come and go in this business but I wanted a understanding ending where we could still be friends. lol Guess that didnt happen. Well I reemployed my old crew to pick up his slack. It's been pretty crazy lately with all the changes but lifes better then ever despite the drama. So pic's of the new setup will be coming soon.
