 Sexing Question

The baby's are about 12days old since breaking soil, all have 3different sets of leaves starting on the 5leaf cycle, i need too sex these baby's, i will be vegging them till 2feet before flowering, now my question is do you think it will be less stressfull if i pre flower when they are 6-10inches, or pre flower at 20-24" then the momma's can stay in flower and rip the males, or sex them younger when they havent matured as much....note plants are 2inches tall, under 400watt mh, 250watt hps.
i know how too go about everything, im just wondering wich way is the less stressfull way..maybe it doesn't matter, please shine some light

What do you mean by "If I pre flower"? How does one force pre flowers?

i meant pre flower as flower before i flower at 20-24".....should i do a pre flower at 6-10" then determine sex let grow till 20-24" then flower again since 20-24" is the height i want too flower at, or should i just do it once they are all at the height i want then remove the males.
i was pretty stoned when i wrote it, hopefully this clarifys

I don't know if I understand you right....if you know you are growing a male there is no point in letting it grow unless you plan on making seeds.
If you are growing clones a plant will show signs of sex ("pre-flower") in about a month but if it is from seed then it will take a little under 2 months. So once males can be distinguished from females then toss them.
*Pre-flowers occur WHEN IN VEGETATIVE GROWTH

got ya, im reading over what i said, and i guess its hard too understand....damm bc big bud got my mind spinning....thx for the input.Never went from seed so i mite be trying too overcomplicate things

Were you thinking of flowering the plants (switching to 12/12) for just a few weeks until they were sexed, then revegging?
That is a possibility, but I think most people don't suggest it.
I think in the end it would take about the same amount of time as waiting for the plants to just naturally show preflowers anyway (because I *think* the revegging process takes quite a while once it has switched) so it doesn't make too much sense to unnecessarily stress 'em.

yea thats what i was thinking.....i was wondering if its more stressfull on the babys as oppose too just letting them preflower then rip the males

i agree, if your only vegging to 2 feet anyway just flower and pick the males as you go~
