in case anyone cares, i made it here okay... things going well so far although it hasnt even been a week yet.
it hit me that i actually did this and that this is in fact real the first night here. what have i done? i hope this turns out to be a good decision afterall.

I know that feeling--it's a weird one.
Of course what you're doing is pretty risky-- but I really respect (and kind of envy) you for it. It definitely takes balls to do something like that.

Seems to me like OP has a pretty good head on their shoulders and realize that it's a risky move. And yeah, its definitely a risk with long-distance things specifically, that the whole deal could crash and burn not long after the IRL meet-up. But, OP seems happy so far, and that's a good sign.
I do have a little experience with this kind of thing myself.

what is it? 2 weeks now, and all i have to say are good things about this, although i seem to have a problem demanding too much sex from him... or so he says, he "cant keep up"  i didnt know i was that much of a nympho haha
valentines day was fuckin awesome.. up snowboarding, got a suite with jacuzzi n all, doin bumps of moxy off the marble on the side of the tub... money dudes. then trippin the next day boarding... good times all around.
trying to get a job sucks, ive put out alot of apps online to some research positions, but no word yet.. tho its only been a few days. im about to start driving around and just picking up random applications for places near here instead of aiming too high to begin with... anyway, now im rambling. ill save you from it.

you were right.
his issues, not mine. he wants "space". he isnt ready for a relationship again yet as far as i can tell. we live together. hows that "space" work?? i leave him alone, he comes and kisses me goodnight and goodbye. i take this making out as something more and tell him i want him. mistake. he gets all distant and doesnt respond after that.
were moving to fast maybe, but how do you slow it down now that im here?? this is going to end badly. im going to get hurt... again.
fuck.
and the worst part is i dont have money to up n leave.
cuz i would to give him space if i did... id move in with friends n work elsewhere.
ugh.
