Sorry to hear it. I hope you are ok.
I lost two friends about 8 years ago to meth. I refused to do it. Sometimes I look back and wonder if I could have helped them more if I didn't ditch them when they started using. Truth is, they never seemed to care when I stopped calling.
Anyway, I wish you the best riding this out. Never easy to lose a friend.

stay strong, just know that they wouldnt want you feeling depressed for the rest of your life over them. do something special for them, and keep them in your memories, it will be hard not to.
I lost my best friend because of drugs and driving a few months ago and i know what you mean that its completely different than loosing family, I feel that for me personally and probably most other people out there friends are closer than family
just know that they loved you, and that they lived a life worth dying for, which is all anyone can ask for. and they are no longer suffering with heroin addiction
