I harvested w/o taking a final picture.
I haven't calculated the dry weight yet, but will...

I am not very pleased with how it's looking compared to what was received from a FOAF.

I was expecting a very large rootball in the bottom when it was pretty minimal.

I guess all in time. Right?

I will be testing again making a few changes in the way I did things.

I asked the guy at my local hydro store, and he believs it was because I was using 2 different mediums...

A 4x4 rockwool cube going into hydroton.

I think this time I am not going to use the hydroton, and just put rockwool in the buckets.

I am using the same nutrients on a seperate grow with just 2 4x4 cubes and 1 slab. This is working amazingly great!

this was done on a drip head table, and I would like this same success with the buckets for ease of water control.

I plan on putting my rockwool into hydroton then using an ebb and flow method. What problems did you experience doing this?

well, the plants just didn't look as good as another site's did.
I can not use this for a control because it was not doing buckets, and it had 4000w per table.

I am only running 2000w.

I did dump out a couple more and the root balls were pretty alright.

but only getting 9oz dry out of 12 plants does not seem acceptable.
what are your thoughts?

Hmm yeah that does seem light, it looks like you did everything to a T so Idk why you didn't pull more, maybe just chalk this one up to a bad strain or bad genetics?

yeah dude, I don't mean to be a bummer, but a grow that size should produce way more than that.  Did you let them finish flowering.  They put a lot of weight on in the end.

It's no big deal to me, I get all the smoke I could ask for. This is just a bonus, but I am new to the game... So I will work all the kinks out

I am going to try and raise the rockwool cubes up a bit this time, which will allow for more root development in the bottom.

I'll make sure to do the grow log, and finish it this time!! :strokebeard2:

You posted that video earlier in the thread about sticking pvc under the rockwool to raise the plant and get more root development underneath., did you end up not trying that the first time?

How many watts is/ are your air pump/pumps?

Also what size and type of air stone?

it's a double outlet pump...
2x 4" air stones.

I do not believe aeration is not an issue.
(plus the water falling back into the res)
