and when did you start smoking? by smoking i mean smoking weed of course.
I started at sixteen I think, and my family kind of knows, almost always unspoken.

Yep, my dad knows, we had a bit of drama about it a couple months back but i think he now understands the whole weed thing. Now i dont smoke as often as i used to but my dad doesnt really care about it anymore. Not sure my mom is aware but the rest of my family knows too, i have no problem confronting people that weed isnt the devil and is way safer than alcohol.
My first toke was sometime around high school and probably about 3-4 years ago i started toking nightly and now ive been appreciating being more clear so i dont smoke as much but still have respect for the herb

My parents used to smoke, not nearly as much as I do but they did, when my mum found me smoking a joint for the first time she wasn't too pissed, but told me she didn't want me to get into it. Now she doesn't care and even has a toke every now and then. I smoke at home whenever I want, and alot of my friends come over to chill and smoke without harassment

Yeah my dad used to smoke and will on occasion. they dont much care. or atleast they dont tell me if they do. they just dont want me to get in trouble with the law

My family came to know about 18 months ago. There wasn't much fuss and it mostly goes unspoken. They have at times got on my case about it but I usually defend marijuana based on how unharmful it is. My mum sometimes gives me the the "it's the law" argument but I don't accept law as an authority that supersedes freedom, and I tell her as much.
Once dad flipped out because I was smoking in the house, which is fair enough so I don't do that anymore. I didn't buy the house after all. and it's good that they respect my choice. I had to work for it though, before me they were as brainwashed as any sucker.

Also, first time was when I was 15 or 16 (like literally on one of those birthdays). My cousin and a couple friends took me to another friends house and got me stoned as hell.
I thought I smoked before that, but I honestly can't remember anytime before that. Regardless my parents didn't find out until about 2 years ago because I refused to smoke at home.

i started smoking right before my 10th birthday. my parents didn't find out i smoked until i was 13 or so. they didn't mind so long as i wasn't being a dumbass and smoking in public.
then i smoked a joint with my dad.

The first time I smoked was ~13, I started regularly at 14 or 15.
My mom knows for sure. She started out hating it, but quickly changed her mind. I guess its just one of those things...she knows I'm going to do it no matter what, so, no big deal. Before she moved out her only rule was "no smoking in the house", which only really applied when she was home.
My aunt knows for sure, I smoke with her maybe once or twice a year. Even when shes not hitting it, if shes driving me to a movie or concert or something because I'm too drunk to drive, I'm usually passing a spliff around her car. Shes cool with it. She asked my uncle if he'd smoke with me, he said yeah but he never has.
My grandma...she prolly knows I do, but would hate to think I do. Shes a real nazi over it...I guess its just because shes old and set in her misinformed ways. My grandfather...eh...he told me where to drive my car if I'm ever out on a high ride, so I guess he knows whats up
And thats all I've got
Edit: Oh, except my cousins. I thought they hated me for years...all this time, it turns out they were just too high to socialize with me I smoke with them on a regular basis now, and we've become great friends again with the help of good old Mary Jane.

Yes.
They used to do LSD, Speed, lots of Cocaine, Peyote, they sold herb, pretty much all the main drugs at the time...

i think i was 16 the first time i got stoned, and that was from a hash cake that my dad brought home  awesome night. i was so happy when my mum let me have it
but none of my family know i smoke it
once i get another job and im paying them rent again, thats when ill tell them.
