Repotting in Coco.

I think i remember reading somewhere you can leave them longer in coco but i'm not sure what's best for efficiency.
They're in 2L pots at the moment. Next options are 6L and 11L, but i'm not sure whether to skip the 6L and repot straight into the 11L's just before flowering (i usually flower when the side shoots break through the fan leaves). I don't like the idea of them sitting in unrooted compost so frequently but what's for the best ?
Thanks,

Going from 2L to 6L to 11L would be the best. May take a little longer than 2L to 11L, but the root system will be forced to utilize more soil space when it fills the 6L and moves to 11L. In short, several increases in pot size forces a more full rootball.
This is what I've heard/experienced, anyone else care to weigh in?

That's how i'd normally do it in soil but i wasn't sure if coco was any different. So it's basically treat it like soil ? I don't like the idea of watering every day on fresh coco but i don't like the idea holding back on nutes either at this point,, it's my first run with coco so i'm not exactly sure what to expect.
Thanks for the advice.

More transplants = bigger root ball.
This does not by any means mean better yields, better efficiency. I personally do a number of transplants from a plug to a 4" pot (half a litre), to a 5.2" pot (2L) to either a 1.58 round pot or/to a 5gal grow bag. Many people go from a plug to 1L or solo cup to the final pot often 2-5gals and get amazing results.
