And played a very well, turnover-free game against a pretty solid opponent.
UConn is definitely better than what a lot of top teams played in Week 1.
A win over Notre Dame would be sweet. Pretty sure we can handle them.

They have had consistently the best offense probably in the history of the game. Manning could go down as the best QB ever to play (or at least a top 5).

Good point about Manning using nobody WR's and turning them into household names. Manning is a student of the game. There's noone better. Brady is sick, Favre is sick, there's a few really good qbs that might be right around the same area, but there's noone better.

Yeah, the Skins are almost as bad as the Raiders when it comes to signing free agents to excessive contracts. Usually players that never end up living up to their end of the deal.
Redskins definitely have the talent this year. NFC East is most deadly division in football.
Talk about a backfield of studs; Portis, Larry Johnson, and Willie Parker. Might be the best trio of backs in the NFL. Both statistically and talent wise.

I agree, I just wish we had an offensive line.. and imo, getting rid of Colt Brennan was a mistake.. Mcnabb's only real value at the time of the trade was grooming that kid for greatness.. now he's stuck behind Jason Campbell again

It was damn close there at the end, if that one guy did not do the holding they probably would have won. Not many field goals get blocked, but if it would have gotten blocked then over time. It was a nail bitter at the end.

I was kind of shocked how the offensive line had a hard time stopping the pass rush, but then again it can not be as bad as the the Vikings offensive line. I think Farve is going to hit the ground a lot this season and with him be as old as he is(not saying 40 is old but for a QB it is) it is going to take its toll on him.

Why? It's pretty obvious that the biggest weakness with the Cowboys is the offensive line. Im pretty sure we are still waiting on Colombo the RT to get healthy.
Putting up only 7 points on Washington is a joke. We've got to get out shit together for next week.

I predicted the Vikings missed the playoffs and get beat by Green Bay in both match-ups this year. Favre having the best year of his entire career last season was a fluke. No way he comes close to matching those numbers.

They managed to get 2 TD's in the 2nd Quarter, yes. And like you said, 1 of them was on a spectacular catch by Moss. The final should have been more like 35-7.
Pats didnt score a single point in the entire 2nd half. I would call that domination.
Plus the way Brady was getting smacked around by the Jets defense was awesome
