If they actually held these companies responsible for not proper maintenance and safety conditions, and I mean put them in jail and loose all of their money then you would see things change.

Yhea, its fucking crazy.
Last summer when I was doing IT at one of these places I got to see the dark underbelly of the management.
Foreman's getting away with murder.
Mine managers requesting transfers out of country for "undisclosed" reasons.

This is hard to do my friend. These large companies have amazing amounts of power and political power. Corporations rule and dominate our modern world and it will be a tough one to fight against, but somehow we must do it. They are leading are world to an inevitable doom. What really annoys me is that, our earth is able to provide enough food for everyone in the whole world if only we cultivate it yet there are still millions of people starving every day, money has become our ruler. The human race is absolutely obsessed with technological and scientific advancements spending ridiculous amounts of money on absolutely redundant items. Even I see money as something to be discussed as something that has grown into something way more vital to the human race then it has ever been before --> huge debts --> print more money, whats the whole point of this?
The current systems that we are living by as a human race are evidently not working and change must be had if our beautiful earth is too survive much longer.

I guess I should clarify.
They let the miners mine in really shitty conditions.
Some have died.

The sad thing about those miners is that in some areas that is the only jobs around so not really much choice.
I have a hard time trying to profit off of anything, makes me feel bad but that is just how I feel about it. I would buy an oz of weed and break it down and myself and 3 friends would pay the same amount which was cost. I have friends who buy an oz break it down so that they get theirs free, which I have no problem with but I just can not bring myself to do it too.
