tile,some of it soaked into the grout, most of it spilled into a dirty rag i had laying there. at least it isnt all lost.  there may be pics to come if the rest goes well.

My point exactly.
You can't really prepare yourself for your first trip anyway. Even if you have tripped, chances are you are still not prepared for salvia. Go ahead balls to the wall with it (can be literally balls are walls) and everything else will mostly be better.

pretty much every psychedelic besides salvia is pretty kick ass. Salvia is the only one that constantly throws me under the bus

First time I ever tried psychedelics I ate about a shoebox full of shrooms with two other friends over the period of about 3hours then tripped all night in his backyard.
We ate them at about 6pm and ended up sleeping at about 9:30am.
It was one of the single most awesome and amazing experiences of my life, but I will never eat that many again, or not for a while anyway. I have been doing them every now and then since that, at lower doses, and its been all sweet because I know that even if i freak out I have been far far far deeper than I would be at that moment and I'm still alive

iStoner - I would definatley NOT recommend doing DMT for your first psychedelic experience. You won't know what hit you, and you will most likely be completley overwhelmed. The first time i did it, i had been on at least 2 dozen acid trips and more shroom trips than i care to count, and i was still completley overwhelmed me by how powerful it was. Its just so much more powerful than any other psychedelic out there its not even funny. It really is in a league of its own.
For your first trip i'd recommend a low-medium dose of shrooms (high dose is a completley different story). Think about DMT after you've got some experience with shrooms/acid/mescaline. Not only will you be more prepared, but you will also be able to appreciate it more.
Also, it really irritates me when people mention salvia when talking about DMT or other psychedelics. Salvia is NOTHING like DMT or shrooms. DMT and psilocybin are tryptamines, salvia is an a-typical psychedelic at best, but i would class it more as a dissociative. Its effects are not enlightening or profound like DMT, they are disorientating and confusing. I would say salvia has more in common with a high dose of ketamine than it does with any other psychedelic.

well most people i know that have tried salvia just wanted to get fucked up, so they enjoyd being a a vegitable or whatever happend in there trip. i on the otherhand am looking forward to thinking more enlightend.
