My Beautiful Gandlock B-Day Gift.

Hey everyone,
My lovely girlfriend just gave me my B-Day gift, and it is a beaut.
This is custom blown and unique. Made from pyrex.
Measures 9 1/4th inches long, but with the curve 12 1/2 inches.
The smoke travels a whopping 12 inches before reaching you. Allowing you to get nice smooth and big hits.
Nice mix of "sea/ocean" colors with cobalt nobs surrounding portions of the bowl. The large bead in the video has a metallic black sphere in the middle. I couldn't capture it with the video.
One of my best pieces ever!

Yeah I know what you mean.  I usually just take the straight piece from a coat hanger.  I have a ziploc bag with just bowl cleaning supplies :lol:  From paper clips to coat hangers and other assorted pieces :lol:

oh that would be fine as long as you're careful.  i use coat hangers on pieces like 4 inches long.  looks like it would be easier with a piece like you have cuz it's so big..  just my opinion of course.  then again, it is new.  i know how it is with new pieces.  i'm the same way :lol:  all careful n shit with them.

Exactly, I've actually never used a coat hanger. Paper clips, bobby pins, safty pins, needles, skwers, tooth picks, pretty much any metal,long, and skinny.
But If I found one thin enough to bend with so much force, with out breaking the glass, then I would be golden.

I agree.  I've done colored and fumed glass in the past.  You CAN cause scrape marks to gold and silver fuming.

I love it when chicks buy me artsy stuff.  Doesn't happen much anymore.  Wife is not really artsy, but sometimes my sister surprises me.

Like the large yellow pipe in the vid is named yellow.
Just for purposes of explaining a story to a friend or denoting which pipe to hand me.
Ill probably just call it sherlock of gandalf. Just figured I'd hear a few creative names from the community.

However light blue, bleu clair, doesnt sound to bad.
