if there is a good don't you think that would be no different than throwing yourself into a cage a lions?  you're still knowingly putting an end to your life... even if you're not the one who personally does it, it's still suicide to knowingly put yourself in such a situation.

reminds me of a neighbor I had who tried to commit suicide by diving head first off his porch roof, which was about 10 feet high


personally, if I was going to knock myself off, I would try to pick something less likely to be extremely painful and leave me alive with even more issues

My dad had a friend try and kill himself by using(and this is really sad part)22 birdshot. If any of you know what this is it is a very poor choice of shell to use, he lived for like 4 days before going. It hit my dad pretty hard to have a friend do that. no one knew I guess that he was that depressed

A slug would destroy your whole fucking head.  As  would a 12g or 10g.  Most pistols will do it, although I'd recommend using a bigger caliber because it would really suck to live through something like that if you were trying to kill yourself.

It is the big thing with returning troops from combat and you can get it just from going through something that is to much for the mind to handle. Each person has a different level of stress they can handle and if it goes past that point it can cause traumatic problems to their mind. Some can not close their eyes without reliving it, some can never fully relax without help from something(weed works very nicely for this IMO) I know about these two and weed is a big help. There is other ways it effect people as well. There is documentation about people who have been raped or mugged or even assaulted and have suffered PTSD. Like I said everyone is different on what they can handle mentally.
