Nah, shooting drilling mud down in there tomorrow I think to test if they will need.... bridging agent (idk something the would possible clog up the whole well)... I think they want to keep the well usable (and honestly so do I, because there is a lot of oil there to be had. And I hate to say it but we need oil. People can bitch an moan about the need for new energy sources all they want, but until they give me something that will work as a complete replacement I will tell them to shut the fuck up.), so if possible they want to use straight mud maybe?

I don't claim to be an expert at this, just what I have seen from the news. I could honestly be completely 100% wrong, but I doubt it.

We are never going to find a replacement for fossil fuels. Once they are gone the world is gonna have to adapt.

They weren't even supposed to drill that well per federal regulations, but they got a green light anyway.

Oh well, and I'm certain we will find a replacement for fossil fuels. Geothermal Energy is awesome.

Look at Iceland.

Geothermal is part of the solution for some regions of the country/world.

This country needs large scale solar arrays and wind farms if we want to have any resemblance of business as usual in a few decades.

Our coal supply is dwindling, and our reliance on foreign oil is going to fuck our country up next time the price spikes.

The united states has enough potential for geothermal energy use to fufill out energy needs once  geothermal technology advances enough to use it to its best.

Renewable fuels is one of the few things I am interested in enough to actually almost want to do it myself.

But im a lazy bum.

Well I certainly do hope we can keep enough juice flowing to the country.

Energy is only part of our fossil fuel addictions sadly. The amount of fossil fuels used to produce even electric automobiles will in our life time become impractical. The times are a-changing.

What causes the use of fossil fuels to produce the electric automobiles?

The parts are manufactured in different countries (a lot of parts made of plastics) and then they have to be shipped overseas, usually, to manufacturing plants where they assemble the cars, and then they are again shipped over seas to various countries, then they are shipped over land by truck to car dealerships.

Of course we could make our own American made electric cars, but right now that's just not how the industry is set-up.

That makes sense.

But can't bio deisel sources be used to make lubricants instead of fuel sources?

Specifically the kind that can be created by fungi. (I don't remember what one)

So theoretically if the entire world moved to creating electricity via renewable resources, and into using only electric vehicles.

Then that problem would be negated?

To me that is extremely acceptable.

There is no way we can adapt the internal combustion engine to a world with less production of and higher demand for fossil fuels.

Adapt the internal combustion engine?

No I mean straight electric fool. No adapting.

Also, I'm suggesting something that would create a lower demand for fossil fuels. Like not needing any fossil fuels for the production of out electric energy.

Geothermal Power plants FTW in all honesty.

Sorry.

I don't know what the future holds, but I believe that having your own personal vehicle will someday be a luxury for the rich, while the middle class is stuck with more economical/environmental ways of travel.

And I believe the that personal vehicles will continue to be available for all.

And if not public transportation will be far more efficient.

Plus I already ride my bicycle.

I'd kill myself if I lived in a big city though.

God I hate the city.

With a passion.
