 silicone oil residue

I got a letter from my contact lenses company saying that some contacts weren't made properly and could have silicone oil residue on them. I called and gave them the number for my contact lenses and the contacts I use for my right eye were recalled.
It said it could cause hazy vision, discomfort, severe eye pain, or eye injuries requiring medical treatment.
I took out the contact for my right eye but now I am pretty much blind in one eye and that sucks. I probably shouldn't drive like that. They said they'll give me new, oil free ones when I come into the store.
I have had some eye discomfort and pain lately but assumed it was from never changing my contacts and smoking lots of pot.
smoking always helps eye pain though so that's good
Could any real damage have been done to my eye?

Well lets hope that you only have the hazy vision and/or pain and not the medical treatment.

Maybe I will.
Well at least I get today off now cause I can't drive.
Ate two very potent brownies this morning I made last night and then smoked a few bowls of blue widow and now I'm off to the contact place to get my free silicone free contacts and then back here to chill more and do a little bit of work.

You probably have no case in our current judicial climate, but I'd look into it. This has to be some kind of malpractice.
