BlackJack veggies
    #419240 - 05/17/10 11:41 AM (13 years, 10 months ago)

Hey guys, started these from seed 3 weeks ago saturday, black domina x jack herrer feminized from nirvana:

These 3 are my biggest, average, and smallest plants

i'm starting to notice the tips curling a bit on the bigger plants, but growth is still explosive, any cause for concern?

I did a leach recently and the run-off water clocked around 5ph and lower for every plant, i was watering with 6.0 ph now i'm gonna water with 6.5ph.

any thoughts?

600w light, organic nutes, organic soil, aeration containers, RO'd water

Thanks!

Looks like they're getting a bit too much food, IE you soil is a bit too hot.  What exactly are you growing them in?  Have you fed them at all yet?  pH of the water you've been using?

soil is roots organics "natural & organic"

I have been feeding them lightly, mostly using just RO'd water
i used too much humic acid on one feeding

pH is where i think i messed up, i didn't test my water the first two weeks

since i started testing my water i've been watering with around 6pH

First two weeks is no biggie. Just make sure from here on out, your PH is solid. If you were using RO water at the time, then the PH probably wasn't that far off to begin with.

That's not mold, no need for neem.  Looks like a symptom from the overfeeding, your leaves just got a little burnt.  Keep an eye on the problem areas, if they stay contained and do not grow larger you're fine.  If it starts to spread you're probably dealing with a lockout or overdose.

thanks guys, i chopped those plants down a while ago, as soon as they started flowering they ate themselves alive (have no clue what happened) i'm thinking some kind of lockout

they are all from seed, they are so small because as soon as they sprouted i put them under 2x 600w lights
so they never got a chance to stretch

Damn, 2 600W for 3 seedlings, what distance do you keep the lights to your plants?
Couldn't you do the same with 1 if you keep it closer to the plants?
