So I got a prescription for alprazolam, xanax, for my anxiety.
I am also setting up a medical marijuana appointment.
As some of you know I had a messed up experience with xanax, a "Paradoxical Reactions to Benzodiazepines", but I didn't tell my shrink I already tried it and decided I would give it a second try.
Do you think that my reaction could be because I was going through SSRI withdrawal? Though I wasn't on a huge dose, it was a pretty intense and week long withdrawal.
Is there anything I should know about ensuring a more positive experience?
His instructions, which will start after spring break , are to take 0.25 at 8, 0.25 at noon, and 0.25 at 4.
I am also taking 20mg adderall xr when I wake up and adderall 10mg at six.
It's crazy I'm on all these pillz... but it's better than being on anti-depressants

I would say skip the speed and just try the xanax on its own accord.
I mean, you don't need the speed. Drink some coffee.

adderall and anxiety are lovers so piss off adderall and you may even find that you don't need xanax but take it anyway cause I'm no doctor, but yeah as tangerines said piss em off, if you have bad anxiety you should never take uppers they make things 10 times worse.

True, adderall is great for helping me study and giving me anxiety. Especially when combined with 3 cups of coffee.
I hate that doctors do that shit. My friend up here just had to see a shrink to get him lorazepam / mood stabilizers for his anxiety. With those two new scripts she also renewed his script for Dexedrine.

I find that the adderall can help and hurt my anxiety but not that much.

why is everyone call me a fucking retard today? 
I know speed can make anxiety worse, a went a few weeks without it and didn't notice a big difference.
maybe xanax isn't right for me, but it's worth a second try since I had a lot of chemical imbalances from withdrawal in my brain at the time which could be responsible for the reaction.
worse comes to worse I go without benzos because they aren't right for me or try another benzo.
what's the problem guys?

i know...but SSRIS only act directly on A CHEMICAL
that chemical is seretonin
You werent on it long enough to experience any REAL withdrawals or 'imbalances'
