 Question about soil????

last night i got a bag of this organic potting soil. its brown and i put 4 seeds into it and when i watered it a little puddle formed at the top? is this bad soil? it got really muddy but the water eventually went down. i worried? i didnt add perlite or anything im just starting them up in starter jars for now

and its not potting soil it just says organic soil i plan on using garbage bags in the ground eventually

and on the bag it says it is good for vegetables and flowers.. roses it has peatmoss and some hind of sea shell

I think first, you need to tell us the NPK ratio of the soil as well as the manufacturer name. If you got it from a nursery, then I doubt it's bad stuff.
Just because your soil became muddy after you poured water onto it doesn't mean it's not good.

You posted a shit ton and still gave no usefull info, dont take it personal its just funny, in the future use the edit post option.
Now let us kno what brand it is and NPK numbers, the sea shell is most likely oyster.

If it puddled up at first watering you're gonna have to mix in some perlite, try using 1/4 perlite for the given volume of soil to start out.
