The bongs were used as that was already put together when the site ran. They were used over at the shroomery on 420. They just carried them over as a time saver. I dont care for the bong icons either.

I will play devil advocate and say they suck for informational icons. without having one next to the other you wont know if it's 'lit' or not.
Sorry i do web design and I am an interface nazi!
Just shade one a bit brighter and the other a bit darker or add some other color.

I really like those leaves, and would prefer them to the bongs. EXCEPT for one problem. They are PNG images featuring alpha transparency, which cannot be rendered in certain browsers (such as IE6). I tried rendering these as a transparent GIF, but the edges turn out way nasty. If someone has a way around this, that can maintain cross-browser compatability, let's hear it!

Maybe if you just check the specs on the rotary transducer then the alpha-boolean typography can counteract the syntax error.

Hehe, I'm just the messenger on this one. Basically, if you can get the images in transparent GIF format, that will look good on both dark and light backgrounds, we'd be happy to switch 'em up. But the PNG format is not wholly compatible across different browsers.

There are javascript fixes for transparent PNG's in IE6 but wouldn't it be better to just drop support for an outdated and seriously buggy browser? j/k if you want I can try to convert them I have some expertise in that area and wouldn't mind helpin.

Hehe, yea our tech guru extraordinaire (aka Ythan) also mentioned the option of forgetting about those poor people who have neglected to upgrade from IE6... maybe the thing to do. But if it's easy for you and you wouldn't mind trying to whip up a compatable version of the graphic, that would be much appreciated!
