I know its futile posting anything in this forum as it's a ghost town. But hopefully geo see's this thread and disables it.

It's just a default.
You can change it when making a new post or thread.
So I don't see the issue with keeping the AS memory going.
Just my 2 cents.

IMO the user should have the option if they want that option as their default.

As of the present date, there is no expiration anticipated for the heart icon as default.
