I don't know how many people out there like to plan ahead or just envision ones perfect garden. Well tonight I have had a idea. Captain.Koons gave me the low down on hydro. I think I have the making of my first SOG. Okay, here it goes.
I have a 2'x4'x5' tent that has a 400 watt HPS. I was thinking of doing a ebb and flow SOG. Well its apparent that there is going to be different sets of clones at different stages of growth so you would need multiple trays w/ reservoirs. Since most SOG is done in increments of 4 x 20 clones I decided I wanted 4 trays in the reservoir, each being 1'x2'. CK told me that there are not flood tables that size on the market. So I went to google and started researching and stumbled upon this tek.
This guy makes ebb and flow systems that are 1'x2' in dimensions and have a 20 gallon reservoir out of simple tub parts (apparently its really cheap too.
#1 Pump 250 gph $15 #2 Pump 150 gph $10 Air pump $10 White container 20 gal $15 Clear Flood Table $10 Fill & Drain $5
So what do you think? Ebb and Flow SOG? 4 trays x 10 plants rotating every two weeks under a 400w HPS? House & Garden Nutrients? Opinions? Advice? Let me know.
