Simple question I cant seem to find the answer to.
How often do you flood the root's?

3 to 4 times during light cycle. For 15 to 20 minute's.

depends on the medium. for my netpots that are suspended over the table with root masses laying inside, i flood for 30min every 2 hours. things like coco and rockwool will want less flood cycles than something like hydroton or my netpot setup.

run pumps on for one min. off for 5min, continuous.... using the hydrotron cocopuffs!

 1 min isnt enough to fill a table significantly, and 5 min isnt enough for a table to drain fully. where are you getting those numbers? you using a 1000gph pump with a 2x2 table? lol

396gph, and all of that would be depending on how many plant sites and how your big your reservoir is..., how deep your planting containers, more of a 4 x4, pot for pennies style..... hehe k.i.s.s keeping it simple my friend

396gph..... assuming it didnt lose any flow due to lift height to the table (even though it would) means 1 minute on pumps 6.6 gallons.
6.6 gallons is .88 cubic feet which spread over a 4x4 foot area would be about .66 inches deep. and that 6.6 gallons should drain in less than 5 minutes. how does filling your table to less than 1 inch of water every 5 minutes work?
not to mention using 1min on 5min off would either require a $90 recycling timer, or some crafty DIY electronics.

so maybe thats why im a dirt farmer , but it would be using 2lt mountain dew bottles, just 12.... thought it was 396, but ur maths right puff puff pass
