Anyone wanting to check it out can search Hilo Bay webcams. There are several along the coast over there. Also there is a couple on the Konaside to view. Obviously there is a lot of traffic but keep trying, eventually you will get to view. 30 minutes till impact!

We have only gotten some strong surges, but nothing significant. Which is good! So far we dodged 2 tsunami's due to earth quakes in other parts of he world. This in just a month span or so. 3rd one is always the charm, at least that has been my experience. 
There have been roughly 3 ft differences with total surge/undertows. Was neat to see the lil coconut island in the footage and the surging waters going back and forth. Looked like white water rapids. As of now it is still surging but small kind. The warning was lifted as far as i have seen. And life is slowly coming back to life and activity is allowed down in the inundation areas.
