Next year in forensics

I am doing a poetry reading that mixes The Rime of the Ancient Mariner with I'm on a Boat.

Coleridge, meet  T-pain.

It gets enjoyable.

Next year I am also participating in a speech event called Communication Analysis. In is I pick a Social Movement/Speech/Symbol and analyze it with a Communication Theory (You learn the theories in a class called "Rhetorical Criticism" I think it is a senior level class).

Even though I am a chemistry major I am very political, probably from debate. And I have a lot of causes I feel I could help better if I learn to be a better speaker. Personal Activism has a whole new level of power in a world centered around the internet.

It gets me scholarships so I like it. Right now I have an offer to go out of state and still get in state tuition for debate alone. But in forensics I mainly do speeches, the Communication Analysis is going to hopefully get my shoe in the door at some university. I am participating more in the theatre department too, in hope that if I dont get it with debate or forensics that I can get a theatre scholarship. (I'm also only like .4 GPA away from getting scholastic scholarships at my community college).
