Thanks coda, am getting a better cloning hut. One with vents and a higher dome.
Like the perlite idea.

Worked like a charm for me! First time I've ever had serious issues cloning. Don't think I'll use anything else, might have to ditch the heat mat in the summer, but that perlite worked wonders.

Roots look good, success rate is ok. Hopefully those numbers will climb a little higher in a few days.

Also picked up a few of the clones and the peat pod came with them. Take this to mean they have roots. Just not grown all the way through the pod yet.
This adding heat to the cloning process is a cool thing.

43 out of 45, not bad, still short. Will work on that of course.
Still not sure if 2 or 8 male/female.
Gona find a 2 ft fluorescent light for that.
Only had two clones not root. Borth were cut close to a node. The clone was standing. It might of rooted in a longer period of time.

There wasn't enough surface area on that last clone. The stem looks corrupted, too much green on the outer bark, no stem swelling either. Looks like a bad cut was the cause on that one.
43/45 is a great ratio and in 10 days too, I'd call this a complete success if i were you. Good luck with the babies
