Exactly why we shouldnt care. He is basically a prisioner with rights and he is able to communicate with the masses. Why not support John Smith down at your local jail.

I have never once met Marc personally.

However, he has done a very good job of publishing his legal issues on the internet, which is an exception in and of itself that we should pay attention to.

Marc is also involved in a highly unique case in which a Canadian resident and citizen is in the process of being tried in a court of law in America for plant seeds.

Marc has paid taxes.

Marc has acted openly before his government and anyone with an attention span.

Marc wants marijuana legallized and accurately compares the issue with alcohol prohibition that lasted in America from 1920-1933. (Ref http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prohibition ).

We have a right to own and use a plant for personal consumption. Period. Anyone breaching that right is the culprit.
