Going to put two vents on my grow box. one for exhaust. and 1 for intake. the intake may or may not have a fan. should that vent be at the base of the plant level or below it like where the pots are?

A constant wind on your plants will strengthen your stems. But I think if its strong enough it might hurt them.

My $0.02, putting the intake near the bottom would be best, so as to draw in the coolest possible air, and so the "current" in the box blows up past the pots and through the canopy before exhausting. Roots need oxygen too, by having the intake low you (probably) eliminate the possibility of stale air sitting below your intake. An oscillating fan would work fine too, though.
An oscillating fan in the room is probably a good idea, for the hardening-off effect Triptonic mentioned, as well as improved air circulation.

I have never heard of having a wind burned plant, and I ALWAYS have oscillating fans on my plants going 24 hours a day. Of course you don't want them blowing so hard that they end up breaking branches. But it shouldn't be causing yellowing tips.
Anyone else heard of this?

No I dont think there is such a thing as a wind burnt plant. Although your face can become wind burnt like the guy I posted.

Eh, same diff. Were both on planks of wood hurtling ourselves down a mountain. I hate the whole boarders vs. skiers shit.

I've tried both.
My 230ish lb frame doesn't do too well on a piece of wood on snow.

I was exaggerating a bit, I can snowboard and ski fairly decently considering I don't really go out.
However, I can't skateboard at all :@

I would suggest putting the in take as low as possible. like God said. it will allow you to get the coolest air coming in and the fresh air will then cycle through the entire cab. no stagnant air getting stuck in the bottom.
my cab is setup with the intake on the floor and exhaust through the top of the cab. that way the hottest air is being drawn out first and new cool air coming in the bottom.

If continous air hits MY plants I notice the tips turned yellow and curled. When I swithed it with a oscillating fan after a while the signs went away. So thats MY definition of wind burn
