got a job today

i went to the hydro shop to get a 125 watt light and walked away with a job and my lamp todays been really great just felt like sharing this

I will be curious to see what they tell you about talking about bud.  I'm sure it's tolerated in those places like it is in the head shops.  I would assume.  Congrats!

Please explain.  Even in California it is a no-no to mention bongs or weed or joints in head shops.

If you direct that to me, i think you misunderstood my comment.  I'm saying I think that it wouldn't be tolerated at all.  As we all know it's a no no to discuss anything cannabis related in those places.

They can no longer shut them down for talking about weed and haven't been able to since 1996. In the eyes of the State talking about weed is exactly the same with no difference at all as talking about penicillin. Half the head shops in San Fran are selling weed in the back and calling themselves clubs.

If they could shut down a head shop for talking about weed they would have a way to shut down every club that sells it. If a head shop can't talk about it a club can't. They can't pick and choose which laws apply to which people or businesses.

I wish magash.  I have only been to the ones in Berkeley and they "Don't sell bongs".  But maybe they are just too stupid to have heard the facts that you speak of.

I've only been to one in Berkly. The one I was talking about is the Head shop run by the guys that run the Blue Sky. (use to be the SR-71). The clubs in San Fran will often give ya a bong if ya sell them smoke at a good price I hear. :rolleyes:

As far as being to stupid to sell bongs two ways to look at it. 1.) To stupid to make the money they could selling bongs or 2.) Smart enough to stay under the radar and not have to much attention drawn to themselves. The clubs that get raided are the ones that get popular. Those are the ones the feds like to make a example out of and the more popular the better.
