You are saying that weed is a drug, and if you want to say that weed is a "drug" then you also have to say that Oxygen is a drug because it effects your brain. And food is a drug because it affets your brain.
Also Inverted, I never claimed to know anything about addictions. Although I am an EMT, it might be a good idea to use subs. But also you dont want to get addicted to them as well right? (I dont know anything about subs.)

And MH... I donno where to start. I damn well don't need treatment. This addiction is much more physical than mental. Most other drugs are vice versa.
You don't seem to understand that all I need to do is get past the first week of dopesickness and then I'll be fine. And NO way do I need to stop using other substances while trying to kick heroin. I'm not dumb enough to instantly hop on the other drug bandwagon. In fact i'm going back to ONLY Cannabis + Psychedelics like it was back in high school, when I was still ready to tackle the world. Alcohol FTL
Edit... Wellllll maybe a little MDMA here and there to compliment a trip, or to have crazy sexy time w/ the wife.

lol dude ok I'm an EMT and its common knowledge that when you are starving you hallucinate. Same with water. So yes it does change your state of mind.

I'm never going to want to get off methadone knowing I have 30 days of withdrawl ahead of me. I kicked heroin cold turkey back in the day and got sober for a month but I just barely beat those withdrawls and it was like 5 days. 30 days of constant restless leg syndrome/feeling like shit and oh nothing makes me happy at all oh and ya I dont get to sleep for a month minus minutes when I pass out. I would be so successful right now without opiates fuck fuck fuck.

Thats what im currently doing I only take 30mg right now. At my highest I was at 100mg. But I knew a kid who took 3mg a day and when he went off methadone he was in withdrawl for 30 days and dident sleep the entire time minus passin out.

My plan is to jump off next spring so that I can go outside when my body temp is fluctuating. You just cant do that in winter in Minnesota. Ive been on Methadone for 2 years now. And in those 2 years I havent had a job or pretty much done jack shit with myself so starting over again is going to be extremely hard, I mean I havent had to really wake up for anything except the occasional doctor or dentist appointment and to have to work a 9-5 again. ugh, and I always seem to dwell on that fact.
