Who prefers matches/regular lighters/butane torches/whatever else is out there.... Just curious.

Someone posted something about a soldering iron and I took it upon myself to use one of my friends, and it worked great.

But since it wasn't mine it isn't permanent. So my alternative is.

Bowls - Regular Lighters
Blunts - Matches

I wonder the possibility of using a soldering iron for a bowl in the same fashion a hot plate is used in a vaporizer :eek:

Just a good ole BIC lighter for me.  I've used a heatgun as a ghetto vape before, worked great, but that's too much of a hassle. 

I only use matches for cigs.  I like that sulfur taste they add to the tobacco, it just doesn't taste right with weed though.

you actually tend to inhale a good bit of butane when you use bic's (or any other similar lighter)

for the purest taste of fine marijuana one should always reach for the bee-line



it's all organic hemp twine coated in bee's wax and whatnot. you light it with anything first and it burns completely cleanly for some wonderful tasting hits. i usually just set a candle and use it to light/re-light the string.

oh and then of course there's the hakko soldering iron which a lot of people use to vape bowls





never tried one personally

Matches for blunts and sometimes bowls joints n what not

Regular BIC lighters most of the time because I'm lazy

And of course the heattt guns for the vaporizer

I prefer the Ital hemp wick, its a little thicker than the bee line so it doesn't go out as easily.

yeah my bee line does go out every once in a while, I found out tonight that bee line is a must for smoking hash, I need to be able to see it burn so I dont scorch it and bee line is perfect cause I dont have to have my hand in the way

Lighter for the win. Butane is too hot for my tastes, I think it burns the weed quicker. I don't like the taste I get with matches when I first use them :argh:

when smoking a bowl, I like to let the flame hover above the weed and not touch the flame to the weed at any point.

I discovered the Humboldt Wick a few months ago and absolutely love it. No more Butane taste and I can really taste, smell the herb way better. The Humboldt Wick at Humboldt-traders.com is cheap, organic and makes me feel much better. With their cute little glass wick holders, I have my cool holistic lighter from now on!

Easiest way is to soak the bud in some petrol first then burn your house down and use the ashes to light the bud up :awegroove:
