So I've got about a half gram of mescaline from a buddy at work. Anyways what should expect and how much should I take?
Also post some interesting trip stories if you got em

take it all and relax, mescaline gives you a very good feeling and vibes from everything, tho it is not as colorful as LSD, it is its own drug and a very good one

the thing about mescaline also is that it comes on real slow. When I tripped it was only after about 2 hours that the trip finally started. It ended up lasting about 10 hours in total. The experience was very mild and gentle, very euphoric with a dash of amphetamine like energy spurts. It seemed to come in waves.

That's what I've assumed reading your post. Great find, I've never been fortunate enough to try mescaline. I'd really like to some day. Is this your first time doing it?

i would take 3/4 of that half gram

well all I got is half a gram so your sayin take the whole amount? 500 milligrams from what I read on erowid is a pretty strong dose, maybe does 250 mg, wait for the peak then let the rest soak into my tongue

If you are an experienced psychonaut, the 500mg dose should be manageable for you. Just please make sure that you are in a comfortable state of mind and physical setting, where you will not be disturbed for at least 10 hours. It would also be advisable to tell a close friend or family member what you plan to do, so that they may check up on you or even trip-sit for you.
I have done mescaline a handful of times, both in its raw cactus form and in its extracted salt form. My dose has always been 400 mg in its extracted form, and have generally had very pleasant experiences with it. The only negative attribute I can recall was from my most recent experience, during which the trip was actually quite enjoyable, but during the come-down I experienced some intense nausea accompanied by a headache, after which I ended up vomiting. I found this odd, as typically the "phenethylamine signature" of nausea comes on during the beginning of the trip, and in my case this occurred at around T + 8 hours. At any rate, it did leave me a little on edge regarding any future use of the substance, so all I can say is to be careful.
If this is your first time with any psychedelic, I would only take half (250mg) of what you have in your possession. Happy trails!

The key to NOT throwing up with it is to smoke a ton of weed within the first hour. Always keeps my nausea down.
I would take the whole 500mg dose. Mescaline seems a lot milder of a trip.

hell yeah dude it took 3 hours for the tea to kick in. but it was mos def worth it. i had to go into work a few hours into the trip, and the whole time there i kept telling everyone to wave their hands over their heads cause the streaks looks really cool.
