What a buzzkill
    #297173 - 10/14/09 03:50 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

My friends and i decided to go to the usual smoke hole, a haunted bridge that is pretty secluded in the woods, its about a quarter mile hike down a muddy path to a steel bridge about a foot wide. Perfect for toking a bowl while sitting on the bridge.... or so we thought....

I have been to this spot many-a-time ghost hunting and/or consuming gods great gift to us all. And in all my times visiting this place i have never seen ANYONE there.

So back to the story, we were siting on the bridge passing the piece around and all of the sudden i notice some movement in the bushes on the trail from where we parked. I figured it was probably more kids coming to do the same exact thing we were, however i wasn't so lucky...

It was two county police officers, and they decided to walk back to the spot because one of the officers had never seen the 'haunted' bridge and wanted to take a look at it.

The officers told us they have been watching us for a while and proved it by quoting one of us on our conversation about being able to run across water as lizards and i pretty much knew we were fucked at that point...

I denied everything and told the cops none of us were dong anything and stuck to my story as did my friends, the cop confiscated our pipe and didn't search us very thoroughly which was a good thing because two of us had something we weren't supposed to have...

On the walk back to the area we parked i managed to get a little bit ahead of the officers and took my contraband  out of my sock and ditched it!!! When we got to the car the officer asked if there was anything illegal in the car and i said, "No sir". He then asked me if I minded if he took a look inside and I respectfully told him that i would like to exercises my fourth amendment and if he had a legal right to search my car without my consent he could go ahead and search it. Long story short he never touched my car...

Thankfully because i had managed to ditch my contraband and because i know my rights, i got off with a stern warning and i was free to go =)[Still lost the pipe though =(]

It was till one of the scariest situations i have EVER been through and from now on i think I'm going t stick to those kind of activities where there is no chance of the police messing everything up

:getstoned:

Wow.

Memories of High School shenanigans are slowly rushing back to me.

Yeah. Those times are the worst. But they're learning experiences.

Never carry more than you can eat. When out getting high. You can't eat a pipe.

That keep me from getting busted many times.

A joint was a felony when I was in high school.

That is what I've been doing usually in the past couple of years on the rare occasions I take some away from home with me. Roll a few joints and keep them where I can grab and eat them in an instant.

WTF was this dude trying to pull though. Going to eat 116 plants? Perhaps some grow lights and other manufacturing evidence?

Cops: NY man tried to eat evidence after pot bust

Posted: Today at 9:45 a.m.
Updated: Today at 3:23 p.m.

CORTLAND, N.Y. — Deputies say an upstate New York man has been charged with evidence tampering after he was busted for growing marijuana - and then tried to eat the evidence. Jeremy Wheeler and his father, William Wheeler, were arrested Sunday night after deputies said they found 116 plants growing in the son's home in Willet. Deputies said Jeremy Wheeler tried to eat some of the plants while being booked.

The 29-year-old Wheeler was also charged with resisting arrest. His 51-year-old father was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawfully growing the drug.

Both were released on tickets to appear in court at a later date. Deputies didn't know whether the men had lawyers.

That was my guess. I wonder though. Could have also been some weird stress reaction. I've seen people do some strange shit in high stress situations. :crazy2:
