got some new eyes today

So after not wearing glasses/contacts for years I decided I should start taking care of my eyes again.

who else wears glasses?

it's a little slow around here....

i've been putting this off for 3 years since i stepped on them while shrooming on thanksgiving. thanks cube428 for stopping by the day before. i'm starting to have to strain my eyes way too much just to read moderately close words. i think it's getting worse lol:shocked:

Then I think you'd qualify for "Yes, but i dont care". Your vision needs correcting, but ya don't do it. I'm in the same boat. I had glasses for years, but a year and a half ago I broke 'em and haven't gotten new ones since. I have to sit nearer the front in some classes, but it's not a big deal.

it does get worse over time for some people

without wearing corrective shit, my eyes have gotten worse every year, and I've noticed this.

i used to fail quizzes and shit daily cause i always sat in the back and couldn't see shiit

a buddies dad owns an optical place so i got the hookup on frames&lenses/contacts/exam for 120$

Yeah, every once in a while I feel like like not having glasses slows me down a little mentally... like the visual fuzziness translates into metnal fuzziness that I have to struggle through. That's only once in a while, but still, I think this thread may have inspired me to put new glasses on my to-do list.
