It might...
choose the macro mode (flower icon)
put a lamp or lighting on the bud so it's brightly lit.
use a binder or stand or something to hold the camera at the shot angle.
set a time delat of about 10 seconds
place the camera start the countdown make sure its good and let it snap.

EZ gave you the best response you are going to get here. I suggest going to a real pot site if you want a slew more of opinions. Ez is cool but otherwise I wouldn't bother wasting my time in such a lame place as this really. Not talking shit so much as relaying facts. The admin has indicated wanting facts.

thanks, I took those pics with a new camera i got on Saturday. Its a nikon d60 with a stock 15-50 mm lens. I can't wait to get a macro lens. I did use the macro setting to take those pictures. Weed is white widow and OG kush.
